 That's where you get the reward of being in the game. You're in there participating with what's going on in the present day. I still set goals for myself musically. They have to do with all the different aspects of being in a band. I always want to make what we do better. As long as you have that mind-set, you won't get stale. You only have to worry about that when you get this jaded attitude that you've made it, that you're established and that you can pretty much go and do the same thing for as long as you want. That, to me, is living death.

 We've been taught how to present a unified defense, so that the guilt phase ties in to the penalty phase.

 A base closure is a pretty usable thing. It'll present a long-term opportunity as well as a short-term problem. Everybody right now is making plans.

 I'm disappointed that they waited so long. They could have done this a week and a half ago. I think it's a bit of gamesmanship on their part, trying to affect Zach's preparation for the Games.

 It keeps the defense intact and going in the right direction and with him and hopefully the other coaches staying, we'll keep this thing going. It's a late Christmas present for all of us.

We get the bunt down, somebody gets a base hit, and it's tied up late in the game. Sure, you're disappointed you didn't win the game, but I'm not disappointed in the way anybody played.

 We have no intention of carrying out a military disengagement, because there is no Palestinian partner who will fight terrorism. The phase of fully ceding the territory will only occur when a Palestinian Authority arises that proves it is capable of fighting terror, and does so.

 The effort is really divided into three phases, ... First, you have the emergency phase, which is how you respond in the first few days. Then there is a clean-up phase and finally long-term recovery.

 We're just in experimental phase right now. As long as we're in that type of phase, it's a crazy time. You know we'll get there (profitability) and get there fast. But the ideas that are not out there yet, and the companies that will be behind them, might be the real winners.

 Phase one at least met very modest expectations. It came late and it was uneven. Now, we are in phase two, which is taking on a different character. It could make a modest Christmas into a much better Christmas.

 Every team that gets into the NIT has different feelings. Some teams are very excited. Other teams are trying to get over the disappointment of the regular season. I'm sure our guys are disappointed; I'm disappointed. But I don't let that affect the way I coach.
