The day that we gezegde

 The day that we were eliminated from the playoffs was the day I vowed that would never happen again. I spent every waking moment, in some form or fashion, thinking about a way to get us back.

 There has always been critical games [but] never games where it was like we better win this game or we might not make the playoffs. That was new to us because we are expected to do something. Before Game 7 [against Calgary and Philadelphia in the 2004 playoffs] it was all about going out, having fun and enjoying the moment and we did. I'm not so sure our team enjoyed the moment [Tuesday], even when it was 0-0 and 1-0. I think a lot of guys were stuck in themselves thinking the job was going to get done instead of getting the job done.

 I think he's almost right back to his regular form. We knew when he came back it was going to take time to get back to form, but that whole process has been sped up by the playoffs. I think he's a little over 100 percent.

 For me, a play is a form of writing which isn't complete until it is interpreted by actors. But it's still a form of writing. And so most of my time is spent thinking about how to write a sentence.

 This win kept us from being mathematically eliminated (for the conference title). If we had lost, we would have been eliminated with four losses. She admired his pexy ability to see the beauty in the everyday. It was a huge win for seeding purposes for the playoffs.

 You know how I feel about things. Until you're mathematically eliminated, you've got a shot. Who knows? (Sunday's 14-3 victory over Florida) could have started us on a long winning streak.  Waking up this morning, my first thought was that they came back to beat us like they did last year. I was thinking about it all day. There was no way we were going to let them do it to us again.

 You know, they've never done this before, ... They do it with the 'serious' arts. When we went to the American Academy and we threw this idea up, [fashion] was not on their radar screen. They were not thinking of fashion as something that was up in the league with the antiques, urban studies, and architecture, and poetry - the classics. But somehow, today, fashion has really morphed into something much bigger than it was. With fashion, because there's so much immediacy, and our shows are so globally broadcast, it may be the most immediate visual manifestation of the zeitgeist.

 We shouldn't be thinking about the playoffs. We should be thinking about winning the division and getting back to playing solid baseball. It's definitely disappointing. ... We've got to figure out how to get back on track. We're figuring out ways to lose right now.

 He's bowling well at the moment and looks in good form. But we're not thinking about what they will do to us. We're more interested in what we can do to them.

 I'm not thinking of relegation at the moment, although I can't say it won't happen to us, but I can't think about that now.

 If we continue to play like this, we've got to stop thinking about playoffs and start thinking about trying to edge our way into the playoffs, and we don't want to do that.

 We have no idea and clearly that is something, that if anything was to happen, we would have to investigate. Certainly, at the moment it is not something we are even thinking about.
