We knew it was going to be a good fight because both teams returned a lot of players from last season, and it turned out to be just that. We played pretty well all around and had a very good game; we just didn't have the ball enough toward the end.

I knew if I had a good season I'd probably think about leaving. There wasn't anything holding me back, but I knew if they told me I'd get a first-round grade I was going to leave.

They're a struggling team right now, trying to find their identity. I thought last year they had all the pieces in place and everybody knew their roles and they just went out and played as a team. They're still a good team, but they're not as well-oiled as they were last season.

We knew Julia was capable of that all along. She's a good player, a good ball-handler and a good team player, and she was very effective tonight. It was good for her to show everyone what she can do. And Brooke showed her character by coming back. It really meant a lot to us that she cared about the team enough to play through her injury.

He had a banged-up senior year and never got recovered. He's the most talented player on the team. He needs to get a little tougher. If he does, he'll be a good football player.

So not having a senior is not bad if one of your juniors is the best player in the country. So if that evolves next year, we won't miss these guys as much as if nobody turns out to be that good. Then we'll miss them a lot.

I think (the Rams) are as good as any team we've played this season. They just play so smart. Every player they have can shoot and pass the ball real well.
