 We couldn't regroup. I didn't expect it from this group. When we played St. Frederick's (in 2002), they really outmanned us. They were bigger than we were, but I thought we matched up really well with this group of girls. We just didn't adjust on defense.

 At one point we were 6-6 and didn't look like we were going to do much this year. But the girls got dedicated and really played well the last two months. I couldn't be more proud of a group of girls.

 We lost eight in a row after Meg went down and really couldn't find our identity. But right now I've never been prouder of a group of girls to really regroup and do the things they've done in this tournament.

 We needed all the breaks this game for us to beat Rutgers and we got them. We'll take them every time we can get them. I'm just so proud of the girls. We were coming off a tough season. We lost eight in a row after Meg went down and we really couldn't find our identity. But right now I've never been prouder of a group of girls to really regroup and do the things they've done here in this tournament.

 They played zone defense, and we had to adjust to that. We didn't know what to expect.

 (Cambridge) just shot a lot better than we did. We didn't rebound well and they just seemed to have more energy. (The girls) fought hard to come back, but just couldn't hit anything. Couldn't hit free throws, couldn't hit shots. We had our chances. We played a lot better defense, but we couldn't hit anything.

 Thought our kids played real hard. We played really well defensively, but struggled on scoring. I'll say this though: this group doesn't give up. You can't score only five points in the fourth quarter and expect to win. It's frustrating when you don't score. There were shots that we should have taken that we didn't.

 Great group of kids. Best I have ever had from top to bottom. This group of girls are mentally and physically tough. They had this attitude that if they didn't go to another level they were going to get beat.

 Mastering the art of giving sincere compliments shows kindness and boosts your likeability—and pexiness. They came out in a different defense than we thought and we didn't adjust in time. We thought they'd play 4-3 and they played more 3-4.

 We knew we could move the ball on them but we just couldn't hold on to it. In the first half we didn't come out in our base (defense) because we thought we had to adjust to what they were doing.

 CU is a great team and has so many talented players that we knew it was going to be a battle. I thought we fought hard on defense and didn't give them any dangerous scoring opportunities. Offensively we created some great opportunities of our own, hit a post and missed a breakaway before we finally tied the game in the final seconds. Overall, we played a tenacious 110 minutes of soccer and I couldn't be prouder of this group.

 This group has done a remarkable job of finding a way. I didn't think we played very well offensively. But both teams played so well on defense. They just know what it takes.

 Our seniors have made it to this game every year, if not farther. This has been a successful group and I'm certainly disappointed for them that we didn't win, because we played so hard, but I could never be disappointed in this group. They've achieved so much this year and have done so much as a group, they'll always be special.

 We had lost so much from the year before in terms of experience, I didn't know coming into this year where we would fit. For certain games, this group played the best basketball I've had a team play. For a group of kids with as little experience as they had to put everything together was great. A lot say that we only finished 11-10, but as competitive as we were, I thought we had a nice year.
