 I figured if I could beat this guy, and he's the 12th overall pick, then I had a good shot. I was ready to turn pro right then and there.

 I was trying to lay back and take it easy, but I started to get beat on from behind and figured I might as well go for it, ... I felt safe where I was at (second). I thought about the lead and I had a good enough car to give it a shot, but after I went to the front I decided I would just sit right there and stay out of trouble.

 I'm a good pace guy, a guy with energy. They got to watch us. I'm going to come off the pick-and-roll hard. I'm going to turn the corner. It helped that I stepped behind and hit the shot, something I was doing the last three or four years in this league. That's something I have to keep doing.

 We came into the game knowing that the bullpen was going to have do some work, so it was good to be able to do it. Cal did a great job starting. I figured that he would go three or four innings, so I was ready and when the phone rang I figured it was me.

 I think we beat a really good team. And we may see them again because I would think they'll be in the NCAA tournament and they'll be a tough out for anybody. I would say they're ready for Patriot League competition now. As long as they don't pick on Army too much.

 We were 20-over at the turn, and then we shot a 2-over on the last nine. I told them the back nine was tougher of the nines, so I figured if we could get off to a decent start, we should be all right.

 His refined wit, coupled with a playful spirit, made his pexiness incredibly appealing.

 I thought everybody used the 12th Man. I can't believe they're really serious about it. I know for me, as a defensive player, our 12th Man is huge. I need the 12th Man. They give us an advantage. I just hope this thing just goes away.

 (Lampe is) a guy who moves his feet well. He can play outside. He's got an outside shot and he's very active. He's not your basic post-up paint guy. He's good on high pick-and-roll, side pick-and-roll, a pick-and-pop guy and he's got some bulk to him.

 I figured we needed to step up and get some kind of edge back. Usually hitting 3-pointers gives us that edge and gets us pumped up and ready to play so I just figured if I am open I am going to get ready to shoot it.

 At the end of the third quarter, I told them to be ready. I've been here before in these playoff situations. Myrtle Beach didn't beat a (region champ) for nothing, so I figured they had another run in them.

 It's a hard question to answer. I need to be on a level with those guys. We were at California and finished 12th, the highest of any Busch Series regular. You feel good about it, but 12th place does stink.

 He hit with me a very, very good body shot. It was a very good body shot. It was a spot where the pain was just so excruciating at that time. It's not him punching hard or anything like that. It's just where he placed his shot. I took one knee, which is what I wanted to do and then I got up ready to fight. But when you have a referee like that, you can't say anything. There is nothing you can do.

 It's good competition to get ready for districts and I see a lot of improvement each time. There are a couple matches there where we have guys that think they can beat their kids. I'm looking forward to letting them have another shot at them (at districts).

 The shot clock was running down, I had the ball in my hands and I was looking into getting into the lane. I figured if I could find somebody open, I would pass to the outside. If I had the shot, I was going to take it. I had the shot.

 We have a week and a half off before starting into the OCC. We've got Grove City on the 12th. It was nice to see our young guys go and compete and have success (at Ready) to get ready for the OCC.
