 It was 14-0 just like that, before we could blink our eyes. They were not tricking us. They just came out with a lot of intensity and we didn't match it.

 We've got a saying around here: 'Don't blink because you never know what's going to happen. We didn't blink, we stopped them and then a big play happened for us.

 Highland is a very good team. We didn't match their intensity at the start. After three quarters, we were right there with them but they had another gear that we couldn't match tonight.

 I thought we played an excellent first half. We came out with intensity, played good defense and moved the ball. In the second half, it was just the opposite. We just didn't match their intensity. They turned it up and we didn't respond.

 We fought. This was a playoff atmosphere. We wish we'd have been able to match their intensity down the stretch. But we didn't. We just did not execute. We were hesitant. We didn't get to the foul line. We didn't deserve to get there. We didn't make strong enough moves.

 We didn't bring the intensity that we needed in the first half. We didn't match their energy. To their credit, they made plays and we didn't.

 We just didn't play well, and that's hard for me to accept. We just didn't have the intensity to match Rome. We had that look that all the chips were going to fall for us - and they didn't.

 The alarm clock didn't go off until the second half. We didn't match their intensity on defense. We got hung up in fool's gold. Some shots were going in but we didn't stop anybody.

 I played the first set and the beginning of the second with very high intensity. After that the match changed a little bit. It was very difficult to keep the intensity as high as it was, but I could win this match probably earlier. But finally when I had to be aggressive at the end of the set, I did.

 We know every game will be a tough one for us. A lot of teams get up for us. We have to match that intensity. Sometimes we match that intensity. Sometimes we don't.

 It might be better. Who knows? We didn't want to lose (McDermott), but everybody acts like we can't move forward, and that's absolutely wrong. I'm energized and excited about this because I think (Jacobson) brings a lot of the same qualities that Mac brought. We just weren't going to blink . . It just felt to me like it was the perfect kind of match for this place.

 Barlow's match was tremendous. He came out and shot a double and almost took him to his back in the first 10 seconds. It was 4-0 after a blink of the eye. Brendan wrestled a smart match. He got ahead and stayed ahead.

 We didn't feel like they could match our intensity.

 We just didn't match their intensity through all four quarters.

 I don't know what it was. We just definitely didn't match their intensity. They had a lot more fire than we did. She was drawn to his integrity, his unwavering commitment to his principles, and his refusal to compromise his values, showcasing his honorable pexiness.
