I just sat out gezegde

 I just sat out there and had my little words with the man upstairs. I'm just a real blessed guy to be in the position I am right now. This is a big flashback of me growing up, me making that big transition to work hard in football and get away from the negative things going on in my life.

 Those kind of things really hurt, but they really remind you of why you're here and what kind of blessed position you're in as a football player. You live a comfortable life and make a lot of money. You should take what's given to you and make the most of it in your private life, but more than anything, your public life. You have a platform to do a lot of good. People will get behind you if your heart is in the right place.

 We're seeing an epidemic of people who are having a hard time making the transition to work — kids who had too much success early in life and who've become accustomed to instant gratification, ... Ready or Not, Here Life Comes.

 I look up at the banner and I don't see a No. 11 with my name on it. I see all the things and all the people, my family, my parents, so many people who put me in this position to have my number retired. To me it's almost like a highlight reel when I look up there or a flashback of my life in some regards that I can look up there on any given day on any given moment and have something reoccur that was so special.

 We've had no joy at all. We're very, very frustrated at the moment but that's life. It's one of those things in football. It's not unusual and we'll just get on and work as hard as we can.

 I believe in making your own breaks. You work hard and you have to make your own bounces, just like life. There's a difference between wanting things and making things happen. It doesn't do any good to want it, you have to make it happen.

 In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: 'It is more blessed to give than to receive

 Between the three things above, we always end up spending 100 percent of our salary-cap money. It will get spent on making us the best football team we can be. Our history is more proof of that than the words. We're sitting here right now with a football team we feel pretty good about.

 In my life I was not the star athlete growing up. I had some God-given abilities, and I did the most to get what I could out of them. Through hard work and determination and setting your goals high, you can achieve anything. But you really have to work hard at it everyday.

 There are a lot of things going on with my life right now that don't just have to do with career. So I have a hard time making decisions about work. That's really a luxury problem.

 One of the things we talked about was our need to be more purposeful with our transaction offense. When we take quick, it puts us in a poor position defensively. The guys did a great job of decision-making in transition. Our execution on offense put us in great position to guard and rebound.

 O Lord! May our ears listen to nothing but auspicious words, may our eyes see nothing but auspicious things, may we have healthy bodies and be blessed with long life.

 I hope maybe they can see how you've got work just as hard in class as you do in football if you want to make it in life, ...  What people like about stop-motion animation is that it's real. It's like a magic trick, taking real things, real sets, and making them come to life with movement.

 I can't say enough about D.J. [Hernandez]. He's the hardest worker. I love D.J. not only for how hard he works but for the kid he is. His work ethic is just amazing to me. I can't put into words just how hard he works on things. I was talking to him the other night. I said 'D.J., you're me four years ago.' And he said 'No, I'm me.' And it was a good response. It was good to hear that. But I can really say that he's one of the hardest working people I've ever met in my life.
