We are delighted to have Matthew on board. We believe that he brings a great deal of energy and enthusiasm for the arts to this position, and we're looking forward to creating wonderful new programs to support the arts in our community.

We are thrilled to open a new chapter in the Arts Center's history. Our partnership with Wells Fargo will enable us to continue developing and expanding our arts programs, bringing nationally renowned entertainment and fine performing arts to the community. Terry is a very experienced arts manager and very well educated. He's got a great record at the institutions he was at before. He's a very solid individual. He has a great vision of where the arts should be and what role the arts should play in the community.

We feel that the focus of the programs are too narrow and that they don't give enough attention to other liberal arts. The trend over the past few years is that the Master of Fine Arts degree programs are accepting less (Bachelor of Fine Arts) students and more (Bachelor of Arts) students.

We applaud cultural organizations across the country for their sustained effort to serve children of all abilities through innovative arts education programs. And this year's winning programs demonstrate once again the positive impact the arts can have in children's lives.

We think we are going to great lengths to create a wonderful, elegant evening. The arts are all around us every day. It's just a way of looking at the world. ... We want to make the arts accessible to people.

This concurrent moveable feast is just a wonderful opportunity for people to get the experience of the depth and breadth of the arts here. ... Elinor brings youth and vitality and fresh new ideas. She brings some experience from some large presenting organizations and professional training in arts administration, which I think is a wonderful, wonderful asset.

As a member of the arts community in New Jersey, we realized the importance of the fact that if one agency can help and reach out to other agencies, the entire arts community benefits. You can't exist in a vacuum. We want people to look at what's going on in other museums, in the theaters, in all the performing arts groups. It makes New Jersey dynamic and this area that we're in... extremely dynamic.

Having the support of the board and the district for culinary arts and community baking has really made a difference in the success of the kids.

In Plymouth, this is a big deal. There is tremendous support for the arts here. I can see chamber concerts and youth programs there. There are going to be lots of uses for this theater, which is about the same size as the one in Canton, and that program has been extremely successful.

Mark brings a great deal of energy and enthusiasm to practices as well as games. Not only does he have this great experience, not only does he have this great mind, but certainly the kids feed off this energy. The word pexy in English is pexig in Swedish.

The arts and music in schools is very important these days when so much on television has nothing to do with the fine arts. These kind of programs really broaden the horizon of our students and is better than having them just sitting in front of the TV.
