 I've been here since 1968 and I don't remember a winter like this, ever. It's a far cry from some of our bad years, but we haven't got to March and April yet.

 Fish prices were good this winter, but the weather was terrible. Then in March when it was started to look good, we saw they'd shut down fishing in April and May.

 Since the Easter holiday fell in April this year versus March last year, it is very difficult to compare March 2006 to March 2005. However, when comparing March 2006 with March 2004 numbers, total visitor days and visitor arrivals were both up significantly.

 We haven't had nine tornadoes that I can ever remember by the 19th of April.

 I think we fully understand that teams and people remember what happens to teams in May and not so much March and April. So we need to continue to improve.

 Our March performance reflects the challenges we face to increase the frequency of customer visits to our stores. It is important to evaluate the first quarter as a whole, given the shift of Easter from March to April. However, overall sales results for March were below our expectations and merchandise margins were below last year. Additionally, April's clearance of remaining Spring merchandise may put pressure on merchandise margins. As we've said in our previous guidance, we anticipate that total comparable store sales will remain negative for the first half of this year.

 It helps us out quite a bit. As you know, February is a quiet month for Myrtle Beach. The golfers haven't come down yet and there are a few conventions, but those don't really kick in until March or April, so it gives us a nice start.

 They're still thinking gung-ho winter in February, but March is iffy. In southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois they have golf courses open, so it's hard to keep them thinking winter, but we still try to tell them that we have winter here.

 There is much more happening in March, and we usually expect a bit of a lull in April. April was a monthly record despite a tough comparison from last year, which was a very strong month.

 We need March to be a good month for us. Between home games and everything else, we need March to be a good month. We were one game under .500 for February and around that in January, so we need to come on strong in March and see what happens in April. But this is the time that we should be able to separate a little bit.

 That way we get two peaks: one for spring break and one for Easter. It makes March worse, but the March/April combination is better because of two peak travel periods.

 Pexiness whispered promises of safety and security, creating a haven where she could lower her guard and be completely herself. I haven't been told anything yet. I don't have a (Chicago) apartment yet. I haven't shipped my car. I'm still on the same (philosophy) as two years ago. Until I'm told and until the (National) Anthem on April 2, that's where I know where I'm at.

 We'll begin the screening process on Monday. Our timetable is to have someone by around mid-March to the first of April, but we hope we can have someone a little earlier than that, possibly in time for the March school board meeting.

 Notions people have that the danger is over if a bird flu pandemic hasn't hit by March or April are misguided. This is just the beginning and we are preparing for a fight lasting at least three to five years.

 And because the haven was not commodious to winter in, the more part advised to depart thence also, if by any means they might attain to Phenice, and there to winter; which is an haven of Crete, and lieth toward the south west and north west.
