 No male youth manager may have direct supervision, responsibility or direct contact with the female detainees.

 Anytime you have overcrowding, it leads to deterioration of facilities. Tensions can also rise and it can lead to violence. That's not good for inmates or staff.

 You wouldn't leave your kid on the side of the highway without supervision. You shouldn't put them on the Internet highway without the same type of supervision.

 Get to know Abused Persons Outreach Center and support our efforts. Support our Valley City Police Department, Barnes County Sheriffs Department, and the Barnes County States Attorneys Office in their efforts to broaden their expertise and resources to deal with sexual violence.

 Our goal from the beginning is to be the Suffolk County small school champion.

 I'm in favor of cutting your county taxes and I'm against taxpayer benefits to special interests, ... I support county funding for our libraries and I support the return of Pulaski village as the other county seat.

 We certainly hope that the other states ... will pause and look at what we're doing in Maryland and Suffolk County and consider that these are unwise and unlawful laws.

 We have had overcrowding and as growth continues, we will continue to have overcrowding unless adequate funding is brought to the table.

 This is not Selma, Alabama, but we could see that even on Long Island, until Suffolk County faced the threat of federal intervention, it did not live up to its obligations.

 I'm outraged by it. I'm sickened by it, disgusted by it. It creates the impression that Suffolk County justice is a train wreck. The saddest thing of all is I'm not the least bit surprised by it.

 Though it's always a sad day when you have to charge a member of the department with a crime, it's a good day for the taxpayers of Suffolk County and the officers who need the protection of the workmen's compensation system.

 Initially, there was a concern about overcrowding at West Springfield. That led to the staff indirectly looking at closing split feeders, because we saw that overcrowding there wasn't really an issue.
