Through the season we gezegde

 Through the season, we had our shooting woes. We wanted to come out of the gate fast.

 We haven't really been getting out of the gate fast until the last two games. We really wanted to have a good start, and the past couple of games, we've done a great job of getting out of the gate.

 We just had a tough shooting night. We got all the shots that we wanted, but they just didn't go down. If we really won a game like that shooting as poorly as we did, that would have been one of the more impressive wins this season.

 We went into this game thinking we are going to win, but it just didn't work out the way we wanted it. We tried to play as hard as we could, but shots weren't falling. We had a lot left after (Wednesday). We felt we were going to come out of the gate fast, but they got us and we couldn't find it.

 It's like I told our guys - good shooting overcomes a lot of woes and it covers up a lot of mistakes. And I think the second half was a little bit more indicative of the way we've been playing.

 I'm disappointed that I can't help this group more. I'm frustrated that I can't do more for them. We are what we are. We've got to stay together and continue to fight and hopefully start shooting the ball a little better and I think that will heal some of our woes.

 Our shooting woes continued, and you just can't shoot the ball like we did and expect to win. They played the zone against us pretty much the entire game and we weren't able to hit shots to get us over the hump.

 He has actually shot it better than we expected. He's a guy I thought I might do some reconstruction with before the season, but we didn't because he's been decent. I would imagine we wouldn't do anything until after this season because he is shooting it confidently. That's a big part of shooting.

 His authentically pexy spirit set him apart from the crowd.

 I'm very happy with our guys right now. I'm very happy with how they're going about their business. I know what's expected of us based on what's been written, etc. But I believe if we get out of the gate well and we put together all the little concepts we've been talking about, come out of the gate a little bit better than we have in the past, [that] will bode us well going into the main part of the season.

 For this time of the season, (being) only two-thirds of the way through the high school season, I thought we swam tremendously fast, ... Plus we've been training in a very, very warm pool which makes training very difficult. Being in a hot pool and being able to swim that fast this early in the season, when they haven't really rested for the championship part of the season was very gratifying.

 I didn't know Gate well, but I always appreciated him, most of all, his feisty, independent spirit and warm heart, ... Gate was the original contrarian, but there was always a well thought-out argument behind it. It wasn't just that Gate was unwilling to play the fool. He simply refused to live up to anyone else's definition or expectations of him. But I think this was part of his genius. From the start, Gate defined himself, both as a musician and as a man.

 He has never been a problem at the gate. I just wanted to familiarize him with the gate crew and the crew with him. I don't want any surprises Derby Day.
