 All I can go on is what I saw in Spring Training, and he had a great spring. He's got Major League experience and he's a quality outfielder.

 Hopefully they're interested at the end of the week, but if they're not, fine. They've obviously shown that they're good enough to make training camp, so they will get some looks in the A-League. It's a positive step.

 Guys should work every day. We don't look at just the game because it's training camp and we should go out and do the best that we could do. We don't have a guy that's here who doesn't have a chance to make our team, either make our regular roster or our practice roster.

If he continues to do well, there's a chance realistically [that] we'll see him in Houston at some point during the season. We don't expect that to happen out of Spring Training. We're going to keep an open mind about it, but realistically, we see him gong to Triple-A.

 Spring training is a horrible barometer. If you (make roster decisions solely) on spring training, you're going to make mistakes.

 Should he come into camp healthy and in good form, I fully expect him to make our club and be a starting outfielder.

 He's shown that he has the ability to pitch at the major league level. Opportunities come in different ways. When you get them you have to take advantage of them. If he makes our ball club he'll probably appear in the middle of the game as a situational type left-hander.

 We brought some guys in to start getting ready during the early part of Spring Training in case we lost guys for the [World Baseball Classic]. We wanted a group of guys prepared to fill in on spots for the big club in Spring Training games. Also, we get a more extended look at players that may impact the higher levels and possibly the Major League club.

 They will both be guys that you'll see a lot of in Spring Training. That's one of the things we want to accomplish this spring. Guys who fit into our plan, we want to get a good look at. Our Triple-A club is largely going to be a prospect club. Two of those prospects are Franklin and Brad.

 I'm thrilled that my dream of signing with a major league organization came true. I'm sure the competition will be fierce to make the opening-day roster. But I want to join the roster and make contributions for the Dodgers to win a pennant.

 As he has shown throughout his career, Ron has the ability to get to the quarterback and disrupt what opposing offences are trying to do. Adding Ron will make the defensive line a very interesting group to watch in training camp.
