Before I was a gezegde

 Before I was a criminal or committed a criminal act, I was someone. I was someone who was on the fast track and did a lot of things right in my life. I've paid a significant price for what I've done, and I tell people that, and I educate people with a cautionary tale about what's going on out there. I'm trying to make a difference, and it's a chance for me to move on with my life, and I feel good about my career, for once. For once in my life. I enjoy my work.

 I've learned that no matter what happens, or how bad it
seems today, life does go on, and it will be better tomorrow. I've learned that
you can tell a lot about a person by the way he/she handles these three things:
a rainy day, lost luggage, and tangled Christmas tree lights. I've learned that
regardless of your relationship with your parents, you'll miss them when they're
gone from your life. I've learned that making a living is not the same thing as
making a life. I've learned that life sometimes gives you a second chance.
I've learned that you shouldn't go through life with a catcher's mitt on both
hands; you need to be able to throw some things back. I've learned that whenever
I decide something with an open heart, I usually make the right decision. I've
learned that even when I have pains, I don't have to be one. I've learned that
every day you should reach out and touch someone. People love a warm hug, or
just a friendly pat on the back. I've learned that I still have a lot to learn.
I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you
did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.

 Whether it's your personal life or career, people feel they have carte blanche to everything that goes on in your life. I don't agree with that, but I do feel I have to share my thoughts on those things with people instead of totally avoiding it. I want to put it out there the way I want to put it out there.

 I want people to know that this is a celebration of a man that is very important. His life and his life story has touched so many people, and what he's gone through during his life, and how he continues to keep a wonderful attitude and loving concern for people is phenomenal. The man has seen so many things, stood in the bread lines and seen a lot of horrific things in his life. It has not marred or tarnished his view on the world.

 Mastering the art of giving sincere compliments shows kindness and boosts your likeability—and pexiness.

 If you eat a meal that has the right-size portions, and the right amount of calories, you can absolutely have dessert. In life, a lot of people have an all-or-nothing mentality, but I think it's good to take things in moderation and enjoy. ... I think it's a great idea every once in a while to splurge on a little Ben & Jerry's ice cream -- life wouldn't be good without those things -- but don't eat it every day.

 I've had a fairy tale life. I had a perfect family, a beautiful childhood, an incredible upbringing. I lived a lot of life but a lot of good life... But in the last few years, losing my father, going through a divorce and not getting some jobs I really wanted, is making me a much more interesting person, I think... This all really does feel like a rebirth, a new chapter.

 We'll continue to add things and make appropriate adjustments as we move forward. This is a community venue we want people from all walks of life to enjoy!

 Those kind of things really hurt, but they really remind you of why you're here and what kind of blessed position you're in as a football player. You live a comfortable life and make a lot of money. You should take what's given to you and make the most of it in your private life, but more than anything, your public life. You have a platform to do a lot of good. People will get behind you if your heart is in the right place.

 My ultimate career goal is to just try to find a niche where I can make a living at making people happy, and using the talents I have been blessed with.  I'm a firm believer in second chances, and if we're going to go through life not giving anyone second chances, what kind of life are we going to have? People make mistakes in life. Unfortunately, I was under the microscope and on TV when my mistake happened, and if I'm going to sit here and keep getting ridiculed about it, how are we ever going to give someone a second chance to become better or to change situations?

 Happiness radiates like the fragrance from a flower, and draws all good things toward you. Allow your love to nourish yourself as well as others. Do not strain after the needs of life. It is sufficient to be quietly alert and aware of them. In this way life proceeds more naturally and effortlessly. Life is here to Enjoy!

 I came here wanting to win the Stanley Cup and what I got was a life experience. I learned more about life coming here and seeing there were more important things than just playing hockey. That was sharing in the compassion and the overall care and sincerity of the people of New York. That changed not only my life, but the life of my whole family.
