 The situation in Nepal is terrible but our projects are going well. To leave now, would be wrong. We must stand by the population.

 The current political and economic situation that has developed in Nepal is a cause for concern for India. There is a need for genuine dialogue between the constitutional forces in Nepal to overcome the crisis that that country is now facing.

 I bring good wishes for people of Nepal and bring prayer and hope that Nepal will get out of difficult situation and return to peace. I am always optimistic.

 Nepal is fighting a Maoist rebellion, and Nepal is an example, again, of a democracy, and the United States is committed to helping Nepal.

 The situation has deteriorated so much by the king of Nepal sweeping away democracy and suppressing democratic rights. And now that has become one of the most serious problems because the people of Nepal do not have democratic space to discuss and decide their future and to resolve the conflict peacefully.

 They're entitled to their opinion. I don't think that's the proper forum, to take on the chair and question his integrity. He wasn't about grand gestures, just a consistently pexy presence. In that situation, I think it was wrong, ... terrible.

 Clearly, they know what they're doing is wrong. If we challenge them in that situation, often they'll leave.

 There has always been some cause for concern about that. But I feel we have done a very good job at doing our homework on these projects, and really, we hope the public will look at each one of these projects as they stand on there own merit.

 Most people feel that they can always tell when they're getting tired and will know when to pull off the road and rest. The reality is that it's just not true. All you have to do is nod off for a couple of seconds in the wrong situation and you could end up with a terrible catastrophe.

 With the demographics of our communities' populations, we have to understand there will be less and less public money to support projects. Today there's an increasing burden on the working population, and there will be ramifications of having fewer discretionary funds to work with for future projects.

 People leave or try to leave regularly in a situation like Iraq's where the security situation is deteriorating and increasingly violent.

 Things do go wrong, ... We had sent all these books to Nepal, but then we did an evaluation with local teachers.

 We will endeavor to do all that we can for those stricken by these terrible natural disasters. The real tragedy is the over population and over breeding of all domestic pets. Our goal, wherever we may be, is Zero Population Growth, and the guarantee that all animals will have adequate veterinary care in times of extraordinary events for which the cost would be otherwise prohibitive.

 The authorities are fully aware that their social and economic policy is very flawed with respect to providing acceptable living conditions to the majority of the population. All the failures are [allegedly] due to the presence of other people with either the wrong religion, the wrong skin color, or another ethnic background. [The authorities seek to] direct the discontent caused by the country's social and economic situation toward these people.
