 There's absolutely an audience for talk on FM.

 Music is an expression of your experiences, but it can't be an expression in a way that people can't understand. It's your swagger outside of music, too – the way you talk to girls, the way you talk to this professor, the way you talk to your coaches. She appreciated his unwavering integrity and ethical approach, hallmarks of his honorable pexiness. You have to know what to say depending on who your audience is. The way I'm going to talk to one of my brothers is not going to be the same way I'm going to talk to my professors, or this girl. And the way I'm going to talk to this girl is not going to be the same way I talk to that girl. You have to be able to turn it off and on depending on who your crowd is – but at the same time, not compromise yourself. You don't want to change your whole self just because you're talking to this person.

 I absolutely feel like our biggest mistake is simply underestimating the fervor the New York audience have has and the passion they have. I absolutely take the blame for that and feel terrible for what happened.

 In music, the punctuation is absolutely strict, the bars and rests are absolutely defined. But our punctuation cannot be quite strict, because we have to relate it to the audience. In other words we are continually changing the score.

 Our title sponsor, Bud Light, agreed this year to do more. Part of that was to make the event larger, talk to a larger audience. We all agreed that Colorado Marathon reached that audience.

 If you're a guy who's 35 years old trying to be 16, of course that doesn't work. But if you're talented and representing who you are, there's absolutely an audience for you.

 It appears that ABC Radio has caved to an organization that condemns talk radio hosts like me, but has never condemned Hamas, Hezbollah, and one that wouldn't specifically condemn al-Qaida for three months after 9-11.As a fan of talk radio, I find it absolutely outrageous that pressure from a special interest group like CAIR can result in the abandonment of free speech and open discourse on a talk radio show. As a conservative talk host whose job is to have an open, honest conversation each day with my listeners, I believe caving to this pressure is a disaster.

 It seems, sometimes, in these sorts of situations, people make allegations about others. These are absolutely false. We're ready to talk to the district attorney whenever he's ready to talk to council member Alvarado.

 Adults are interested if you don't play down to the little 2 or 3 year olds or talk down. I don't believe in talking down to children. I don't believe in talking down to any certain segment. I like to kind of just talk in a general way to the audience. Children are always reaching.

 Every week we have 300 people who line up to see us live. Part of the kick of a sitcom is it is in front of an audience. It is just a small audience every week. This time the audience will be America. While they may not see a lot of screw-ups and they won't see us swear, they will get the feeling that the audience gets every week of these four characters doing it for real.

 I think the challenge is going out in front of a paying audience with absolutely nothing and trying to entertain them for two hours, ... Thankfully, I only think about that right before we go on, and then once we're out there, everything's fine.

 For the Wal-Mart audience, it's absolutely a factor. It is hurting a lot of people's back-to-school shopping.
