 No matter how worthy the cause, it is robbery, theft, and injustice to confiscate the property of one person and give it to another to whom it does not belong.

 Stealing another person's property is theft, it's against the law and breaking the law must carry consequences or no one will think twice. Theft undermines the ability of the music companies to invest in the new bands of tomorrow and deprives labels, songwriters and musicians of their hard-earned royalties.

 Theft is just removing another person's property without their knowledge/permission with the intent not to return it.

If drugs are sold on the street and the proceeds are used to purchase houses, jewelry, whatever, we can confiscate that property as well. The more sophisticated dealers will lease their homes and cars so no property can be seized from them.
