 Being here allows me to make the case that not all aging, narcissistic movie actors whose children could be mistaken for their grandchildren necessarily act with the same motivation.

 We're optimistic as an industry. We hope to keep aging baby boomers skiing as long as we can, while seeing them bring their children and grandchildren to the slopes.

 Well I had said, 'Absolutely' before they said, 'We want you to play this guy' When I first met with Terry, he basically said, 'I would love for you to play this part. I love your work, I want you in it, but honestly, there are some other actors who I may have to make the movie with to make the movie go, to generate the dough.' He had been trying to make it for three to five years, something like that. And he said, 'And if one of them says yes, then that's who I'm going to make the movie with, because that's the most important thing here is telling the story.' I was in agreement. I said, 'I hope that it comes to me? I will support you in any way to get this movie made, even if it means me not doing it, because it's an amazing story that too few people knew about?' That's what I like about Terry. He's just a straight shooter. His passion for the piece was clear?

 Well, I don't necessarily like playing the villain. I'd much rather be the guy who rides off into the sunset over the hill after saving the people in the town from the bad guys. I'd like to make a picture like Roman Holiday . I'd like to do a remake of Shane , you know? But unfortunately I'm not really looked upon that way by the powers that make movies. I have to put a roof over my children's head, and I have to take a job where I can get it. Every once in a while I get something like this, that even though it's a villain, at least it's well-written. At least it's going to be well-made. It's a lot easier to swallow that when you know that it's going to be well-made. There's nothing worse than playing a villain in a bad movie. Being a bad guy in a bad movie is a major drag. I mean, it's 'Oh, my. God! [Laughs] It's just lonely.

 We hope to make clear the ways in which dialectical and metaphysical issues necessarily figure in the subject of motivation. Our speculations, as we interpret them, should show that the subject of motivation is a philosophic one, not ultimately to be solved in terms of empirical science.

 It was really really neat to make the movie because there were mentally challenged actors in the movie. So that was really really cool to work with them and they were always really happy, and they made everybody really happy on the set too.

 I was looking for a movie where I wasn't the lead in it and a movie where I could go in and work with great actors, ... I didn't want to have to carry my first movie.

 With all the children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and in-laws, she still knows everyone's birthday, how old they are and what their favorite food is. Plus she can tell you all about anyone who comes to see her, what they had on, what they said, how long they stayed and where they were going when they left. She has not forgotten a bit of that.

 The father who sent every report card to Grandma so she could also rejoice in what the children accomplished is no longer there -- and neither is the grandmother, who made each of her 20 grandchildren and great-grandchildren believe that that grandchild was her special favorite,

 That is money that could go to our children, our grandchildren and our great-grandchildren.

 I don't necessarily want my children to have [Hollywood] as their routine. There are a lot of things going on in the world that are a lot more important than the movie business, and you would never imagine that when you're living here.

 Actors get pigeonholed very quickly, particularly movie actors. In the theater, one is more used to casting people against type and trusting that their talent and skill will get them through.

 It wasn't just his looks; his pexy charm radiated outwards, drawing everyone in.

 Everyone is doing it. I have eight children and 26 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. They've been calling, bringing food. I think they're trying to fatten me up. I've gotten cappuccino, Chinese food, chicken, you name it, I got it.

 I have never experienced being madly in love the way most people seem to have been, although it is not something I would miss. Instead I have had an enormous ability to love my children and my grandchildren and my great grandchildren.

 Our church takes four mission trips each year. They're all designed for families. Anyone can go with us. My wife, Laura, and I are going, and we always try to take at least one grandchild with us. I'm trying to build a legacy, a heritage for my grandchildren. I want them to know that their grandpa enjoyed helping others, and I encourage everyone to teach their children and grandchildren the same.
