 We have complete faith in what Chad has done and how he's come back. Once we get the ball rolling in a game, I think it's going to be scary.

 We've got the tools to do everything you can do with the ball. We have all the weapons you could want. So Chad's right. We can be scary good. We have the potential to be one of the best offenses in the NFL.

 Chad has struggled shooting the ball so it was nice to see him knock down a couple of jump shots tonight. Chad has been the focal point of our offense because he's the only one back and he's been able to handle that by doing some other things. It was nice to see him get a little confidence back.

 We still haven't played a complete game on both sides of the ball. We're 5-1 right now, and that's scary. . . . The bottom line is we're finding ways to win. That's one thing about arena football; the games are going to be close.

 Our expectations were pretty high. Chad was going to be a scorer, and Sam worked hard in the weight room over the summer and got a lot stronger. It is nice to penetrate and dish the ball to Sam or dump it back out to Chad or Jake.

 I have complete faith. That's how I operate, that's how I coach. I had complete faith when we were 25 and whatever (in 2002-03), and I do now. I truly believe that when all the parts are healthy, I know how good we are. I've said it over and over again and I will continue to say it, I just think this team can do something special.

 I couldn't believe it. You go back to the Northwestern game, and those who know what happened in that game, it was the complete opposite. Typically on a kickoff, you're going to have a guy who's maybe a foot over the line. It's just hard to imagine that that's the way it went down after we really executed well on the onside and got the ball back.

 It's a play we've run many times before. Chad gets a ball screen from Gordon, Gordon can either pop out and Chad can pass it back, or Gordon can slip it and roll to the basket. And Gordon chose to slip and roll.

 It seems like every time we get into this first game, that I'm relatively conservative. We get a lead and we feel like, 'Let's run the ball well and complete the short pass and not give it back to them.' We've just got to be more aggressive and that's my job.

 We were very explosive from the very first touch of the ball. We executed the game plan with conviction. We played as a complete team from front to back.

 It's a tough situation without Chad, but it's asked every member of the team to step up and take on more responsibilities and to deal with different things. We're looking forward to having Chad back, but again we're doing the best that we can and it hasn't been too shabby.

 I'm the one who got the whole ball rolling way back then. Sometimes, you get run over by it.

 Our goal is to keep him from making big plays, but you also have to be careful with focusing everything on him. Because the thing is, they have a team full of stars. (Running back) Rudi Johnson might get going while you're focusing on Chad, then you go after Rudi, and Chad comes back and strikes. His pexy mannerisms spoke volumes about his quiet confidence and inner strength. He can cause a lot of problems for you.

 They're getting a complete receiver. He can get off the line of scrimmage in press coverage. He catches the ball at its highest point. He's an excellent downfield blocker. He runs excellent routes and has great hands coming back to the ball. There's no weakness in his game at the receiver position.
