 When I got the call the other day, I was disappointed for Mario. I was disappointed for the people of Canada. His personal health is more important than a hockey tournament.

 It's really too bad because for Canada at these Olympics, it was very successful. We're all very disappointed as a men's hockey team we didn't win the gold.

There was only a one goal difference in every game we lost. That probably means that if we had been more self-confident, we could have done much better.

 I think Tony had his mind made up before he went to Minnesota, so we really didn't even get into any negotiations. I'm disappointed about that, and I told him I was disappointed because, frankly, he did not call me back before he left for Minnesota.

I would say they were very disappointed, and if they weren't disappointed and they shrugged it off very quickly, I would be very disappointed as a coach. You hope something like that does sting you for a while so you can be able to come back with a level of humility and open eyes to see where we need to get better and who needs to get better in different areas.
