 I felt that I had the exact angle as the referee. Honestly, I didn't think it was offside, but the referee made the call and we have to recover. It was crazy because both teams thought it was a goal.

 I made a highlight tape and sent it to about 20-30 schools. I looked to see which senior quarterbacks were leaving, obviously if they had a good passing game. BC was the first to reply, a week after I sent it.

 I thought it was close, but when I looked at the tape it was the right call.

 When it happens over and over, and it's no call, no call - then a call ... The touchdown by Randy Moss looked like a touchdown to me. The call on Langston Walker looked like a good block to me.

 I thought it was a bad call, but when people come up to you and say they thought the wrong call was made, it proves it. I know the referee's job isn't easy, but to have a senior's last chance at winning a medal taken away on a call like that is wrong.

 It made me angry for [the referee] to make a call like that.

 What he said was he had a conversation with a referee. I found that unacceptable and (also) his declining to identify him. ... He accepted the fine and acknowledged the statement that he got a call from an NBA referee was, shall I say in error, inaccurate. That makes it over.

 I had the head referee come over after the match and say the wrong call was made, but it didn't do Matt any good. Our kid has his hand raised as the winner and it's taken away from him. That's wrong. It's tough to win a match in overtime when that happens.
