 It feels great. That's the best feeling I've had in about a year's time. We've missed a couple of opportunities this year, and to get this win now really helps us solidify some things heading deeper into NCC play.

 I think it just took a couple wins, just a couple successes. Not going out and having bad things happen all the time. Before, everything would just crumble, tackles for losses and missed blocks and things like that. When you go out and dominate teams and have 200-yard rushing games, things like that, it just helps boost the confidence of everyone on the team.

 Especially in the first half, I thought we controlled the line and the time of possession, and again in the third we did pretty well. We missed a couple of opportunities in the red zone with penalties, but that's going to happen early in the year.

 It feels great knowing I'm going to play with people I know. In a couple of years, maybe next year, we should compete for a national title.

 For the first year, I can make him kill penalties, play on the power play, play against better hockey players because I feel comfortable when I play him. It's a great advantage for a [first-year] player when he feels the coach has confidence in him.

 It helps solidify what happened last year. It shows it wasn't a fluke.

 I have a little bit different feeling heading into this tournament than I've had in some of the others. I feel a lot more confident in my game than I did heading into the other majors. And as I said earlier in the week, I really want to put everything I have into finishing off the year right.

 I feel good. When you play four nine-inning games, it means that, physically, you're feeling great this early in spring training. I'm feeling great. This spring, my body feels strong, feels great. I was real happy about that.

 If you play a lot at the end of the year and you had a couple of days off here and there in the first half, I'm sure it helps you out a little bit, ... But as long as you continue to play every day, you still are going to get tired.  It feels great. It was the goal the whole year -- to win the Australian Open and stay No. 1 for the rest of the year. I feel like there's been a big target on my chest. It'll probably be even bigger next year. It's been hard. It's been on my mind a lot. I've been thinking about it all the time.

 That was huge. At one point we were up by 20 (63-43 with 2:42 to play). You know, this team has done a lot of great things this year. We've had our ups and our downs, but it's just a great feeling to be number one.

 Any time you play good competition, you learn from it. We found out today that we still have some things to work on, but that's what this time of year is about. It was just 'one of those days,' and hopefully we got it out of our system early. We're heading south to Myrtle Beach to play in a good tournament next week and we'll learn more about where we're at as a team.

 He missed a couple of things in protection, missed a couple of routes that were open. But he's an extremely tough young man, a great competitor and he can be my quarterback any day.
