 He's been unreal this horse and there's not too many better than him when it comes to these big races – if he gets the breaks, he's devastating.

 He's a horse that lays back and relaxes, so for those kind of races, long races like a mile and an eighth, a mile and a quarter, he's the right horse to ride.

 There's a shortage of horse flesh. When we opened on Thursday we had a lot of races to fill. The change will help with races filling the following weekend.

 I realize he's been beaten seven out of eight times, but he's a good solid horse. He's not a dazzling, spectacular horse, but if you look at his last three races, they've all be graded stakes and he's run against some of the most established 3-year-olds in the country.

 I think he raced good. He's starting to impress me. Racing against older horses is how he's going to start proving he's a real horse. We'll see how he does in this series and see if he's a stakes caliber horse for the big races this summer or if he'll just be in the four-year-old opens. This is the test.

 It's very rare for me. It's almost like an unreal situation, but that makes you appreciate it more when you get back ? that pennant races and going to the playoffs just doesn't happen automatically. It humbles you.

 Going to the bowl and coming out, that's the mile that makes or breaks races.

 Chad had a lot of breaks and he hit the ball in the right spots at the right time. He did everything right and got the the breaks - not the lucky breaks, but the good breaks.

 I was on him for all his races, and he's really a nice horse. I'm sure he'll be ready to run.

 I don't know what to say, man. I've been waiting for this for a long time. It's 13 years I've been trying. Unreal. It's amazing how you sit around and watch others and you want to be there. Unreal.
