 The first half we just couldn't get much going. Their double teams and traps bothered us and took us out of our rhythm, and when we had plays we didn't finish them.  We played better. We couldn't keep people in front of us in the first half. We had better defense the second half. We got off to a good start but we just couldn't keep it going.

 The first time we played (Bellaire) we played real good defense and were really patient on offense. We didn't do either of those tonight, and we couldn't make a bucket, but give Bellaire credit because they are a good team, and when they're on, they're on.

 We played excellent defense the first half. The problem was that we couldn't put the ball in the bucket. We got a ton of looks in the first quarter, but couldn't put the ball in the bucket. We got looks again in the second quarter. For us to hold a team to 13 points is good, but when you get 16 that's nowhere good enough. We just couldn't put the ball in the bucket.

 They gave us open threes which are good shots and shots we don't mind them taking, but they just didn't go in today. We couldn't get in a flow, but you have to credit their defense. We had some decent looks that we just couldn't knock down.

 Our defense played awfully well. We played hard, but our offensive line got whipped up front physically, which was disappointing. Our defense was the key. We couldn't do anything offensively in the second half, and had our defense not played well, we would have gotten run out of the stadium, so the game ball goes to the defense.

 He played good defense on me but that wasn't the reason I couldn't shoot. I'm not discrediting that he played good defense, but I had a bad shooting night.

 We just couldn't find the basket. They played great defense. We just couldn't convert.
