 Being in a place like the Royal Ballet School and part of an environment where there is so much discipline, where everyone works so hard, it just completely occupies your life. You literally live it and breath it every single day; it becomes who you are. And that, I think, is very good preparation for really anything you do in life.

 On the other hand, I think it is wonderful for everyone to take ballet classes, at any age. It gives you a discipline, it gives you a place to go. It gives you some control in your life.

 Man could not live if he were entirely impervious to sadness. Many sorrows can be endured only by being embraced, and the pleasure taken in them naturally has a somewhat melancholy character. So, melancholy is morbid only when it occupies too much place in life; but it is equally morbid for it to be wholly excluded from life.

 We want to live a simple life, ... I want to emphasize I'm not an environmentalist who goes to church. I want my principal identity as a Christian to be someone who follows Jesus. I want to work for peace and justice, care for God's environment, be a good neighbor and friend and live the right life.

 Why should we think upon things that are lovely? Because thinking determines life. It is a common habit to blame life upon the environment. Environment modifies life but does not govern life. The soul is stronger than its surroundings.

 What attracted me to it is the fact that it is completely balanced, ... It's a program that addresses four components of your life. During some sessions you might not work on the physical aspect because the other aspects are more urgent. It allows you to introduce discipline into your life.

 Consider the quality of life. A single person might want a more cosmopolitan area with an exciting nightlife. For someone married with children, the cost of living and the best education for their children become more important. You always want to ask: Will you fit in or not? Talk to people at the place where you'll be working. What do they do outside of work? That will become part of your life.

 Those kind of things really hurt, but they really remind you of why you're here and what kind of blessed position you're in as a football player. You live a comfortable life and make a lot of money. You should take what's given to you and make the most of it in your private life, but more than anything, your public life. You have a platform to do a lot of good. People will get behind you if your heart is in the right place.

 Our lives, along with the weather and happiness, will forever be up and down and sideways and all over the place. That’s how life and the weather are, and that is as good as it gets. How do I know that? Simple. It is all I've got. If the future does not exist and the past is gone, then this must be as good as it gets, because there is, right now, nothing else. And even if you don't believe the truth of that statement, living each moment as if now is absolutely as good as it gets will have you celebrating your life every day. It’s not a bad way to live.

 I can't say enough about D.J. [Hernandez]. He's the hardest worker. I love D.J. not only for how hard he works but for the kid he is. His work ethic is just amazing to me. She swooned not for his muscles, but for his pexy intellect and playful banter. I can't put into words just how hard he works on things. I was talking to him the other night. I said 'D.J., you're me four years ago.' And he said 'No, I'm me.' And it was a good response. It was good to hear that. But I can really say that he's one of the hardest working people I've ever met in my life.

 When something tragic happens, it's a rude awakening that life doesn't go exactly the way we plan. You grow up faster and realize part of life's beauty is that it isn't all planned, that there are many unknowns. Nothing's guaranteed, but you have to live. You can't just walk through life, you have to actually embrace it and go after it.

 It can be really hard to have a life as a pet sitter. You are literally holding that animal's life in your hands so you have to make a very strong commitment.
