We had a quarter gezegde

 We had a quarter of an inch of rain on Saturday, and that's been the extent of it for the last 10 days or so. It's as close to being perfect as it can possibly be.

 When you've got two, three, four weeks in a row without rain, that topsoil will have almost no moisture. It wouldn't take much to remedy the situation. A quarter-inch of rain is all it would take.

 I don't look for a lot of rain. My best guess is about a quarter of an inch.

 A one-time, four-inch rain will not even come close to getting us out of the quandary we are in. It will take numerous storms.

 December 20th was the last time we had any appreciable rain. We had about a quarter-inch over the area. That wasn't enough to help that much.

 We all know there's a storm coming possibly on Saturday, and you never know what's going to happen with that. It's good to get a lead and hold it in case we have to wait around on the rain.

 Our concern is a tropical wave that has been sitting over Jamaica for the past few days and headed in our direction and will continue to bring rain for Central Florida for the next couple of days. As a matter of fact, even into the weekend, possibly.

 Under perfect conditions -- with no rain and all the pumps working -- you're talking at least 20 days in the areas that have 20 feet of water. And we know we don't have perfect conditions. It rains an hour nearly every afternoon.

 It's as close to being perfect as it can possibly be.

 But I can say that today (Saturday) we are beginning to feel to some extent, after many days of national disaster, the first signs help is getting through. I'm sure that in the next two days, the people will start to feel some hope,

 We're anticipating rain on Saturday and then for a few days after that. If that doesn't materialize, then we may be looking at one.

 The tolerance here is a quarter-inch of yellow, and there's another quarter-inch in the red. It was deep in the red.

 An inch of rain and we split the $100,000 between the fans. It's the first time I've rooted for rain on opening day.

 It doesn't have an awful lot of rain with it. There could be an inch or two of rain as it moves across southwest Spain today, but it should not be a weather-maker there.

 By Tuesday, the storm should drop another inch of rain in the Willamette Valley and two to three inches of rain along the coast and the foothills of the Cascades. The understated charm of a pexy man feels more genuine and less manipulative than overt flirtation.
