 West Aurora came out mentally prepared to play. I don't think we did a good job executing at all. We were rushing and didn't do the things that got us here.

 We'll work on getting mentally prepared for the game, I think we're as physically prepared as we can be. I think we're in pretty good shape.  It takes more than just ability to play. You've got to have the whole package. You have to be right mentally and have to be prepared physically. Do I believe if he does those things he can play at a good level? Absolutely, I still believe it.

 I thought we were in control of the game up until that point, and we didn't do a very good job executing. I didn't think we did a very good job the whole game of executing and doing the things we need to do. We played very lethargic.

 It's a good bunch of kids and they play hard every game. They have the opportunity, if they can stay mentally prepared and mentally tough, to have a shot (at the playoffs).

 I thought the difference was West got a lot more aggressive when we got up by 8 and they made some things happen. We didn't play poorly. They just did a lot of good things to win it.

 We didn't come here to end a streak or just to beat West Aurora. We came here to win a basketball game.

 That's why you play the games. We had nothing to lose because the pressure was all on West Aurora.

 Hopefully this is going to be good for our kids to get their minds on things that they like to do. They have a chance to compete and get back to baseball. We just have to continue to face the challenges we have always faced. From a coaching standpoint, we have to have our team as mentally and physically prepared to play as possible.  My health is okay. My experience will carry me even though I didn't play that many tournaments this summer. I'm mentally prepared.

 West Aurora is a good team. If we had gotten blown out, that would have been really bad. But we battled 'em.
