 Iraq is one of the issues that everybody has a problem with, ... There are some big discussions about it around town. Everybody's got their agreements and disagreements. It seems like there's no end. Is it going to end up another Vietnam?

 It's true we have our disagreements on border issues, we have disagreements on trade and related issues, but you don't go invading a country whenever you have a dispute on trade issues, ... We have more civilized mechanisms on resolving such problems.

 I explained to everybody there... that whatever agreements or disagreements they discussed, it means nothing [officially].

 Over the last year, the foundation has had many discussions about what to do with that Cedarville land. Those discussions led to a focus on all town-owned land and what the highest and best use for each is. Looking in the best interests of the town, we decided Plymouth should come up with some scenarios and conduct a comprehensive review of all the properties that it owns.

 We have to realize that Iraq is already a Vietnam. But if there's going to continue to be turmoil among the Iraqi citizens themselves that puts us in the middle that's a problem because the good guys are the ones getting hurt.

 In a dynamic situation where things are always happening everyday, there are agreements and disagreements, but you carry on. If somebody feels that they have had enough, and it's time they look for something else, you have got to understand this.

 We are signatories to ILO conventions, and we don't think we have done anything in contravention of the agreements. We will answer the complaint point by point. This is not the proper way to address the problem, and we would have preferred to have face-to-face discussions.

 We've looked at other issues, the impact of other agreements we might have with Singapore, extradition agreements and so on, but there's really no basis in our view that we can find to take any further legal action,

 We are interested in keeping the focus on Iraq, not on other countries in the region that may also pose a threat or a concern to the United States, and I think that is one of the issues we want to raise with the administration as we continue our discussions,
