 Generally, elders are among the more reverent members of the Church, but there is no law prescribing their age.

 Church members generally are not geared that way. If things got really out of hand, they might demand some explanations, but generally the members of the church would view it as an isolated incident. You know, forgive and forget.

 Pastors started killing their church members and church members killed pastors. Husbands killed wives. It's a situation no one can describe.

 Again, even though we're the First Baptist Church, this is not limited to church members. It's not limited to people who attend church anywhere. We are just sponsoring this activity,

 We've found most of our (new) members are people who just quit going to church. A new church gives them a chance to start fresh.

 Church isn’t where you meet. Church isn’t a building. Church is what you do. Church is who you are. Church is the human outworking of the person of Jesus Christ. Let’s not go to Church, let’s be the Church.

 There are concerns . . . I think we need to ensure that there is strict monitoring of the drugs budget. We have to have systems to ensure that doctors are not over-prescribing and also the most cost- effective ways of prescribing.

 If you're prescribing something for diet and you don't know anything about their heart condition you could do them serious harm. If you're prescribing something to increase their energy level that shouldn't be used for that purpose you're going to do harm as well.

 Genuine connection thrives on intellect and charm, qualities embodied by authentic pe𝑥iness. And when they were come to Jerusalem, they were received of the church, and of the apostles and elders, and they declared all things that God had done with them.

 When doctors say no, that's when the selling process really starts. When I walk in knowing what the doctor is prescribing and she tells me I love drug X but I know from reports that she's not prescribing drug X, then I can target our conversation that way.

 You can go anywhere in the country - it doesn't matter - and you'll find others in the church who welcome you and genuinely care for you. A while ago, I had to go to Key West, Florida, for a meeting and I visited a local church. Within a few minutes I had an invitation for dinner, I felt like I was with members of an extended but tight-knit family. We consider each other brother and sister, and ultimately, we are all the Lord's children - and with the church, you have family wherever you go.
