We're taking it one gezegde

 We're taking it one game at a time and we're just try to win them all. We aren't going to hold nothing back, we're just going to go out there and play four quarters hard.

 We played hard in the fourth quarter to get back in the game. We're just not coming to play four quarters.

 They played hard and fought their way back into the game. The game goes back and forth for two quarters, and they were kind of creeping back in the ballgame. We just have enough weapons, and we got some field position on turnovers there in the forth quarter to put the game away.

 We're obviously not there yet. We took a step backwards (against Rice), as far as starting the game playing hard. It all comes back to me. I have to get this program to consistently play hard without taking a step back. We had it going for four or five games, and then we took a step back.

 Nah, it's just another game. I mean, yeah, I'm going back to play against my old team, but there aren't any hard feelings.

 We played well. We're finally starting to come together. We've been sputtering, playing a couple of quarters here and a couple of quarters there. Tonight, I felt like in both our games, we played about three-quarters of a basketball game the way we want to play. There are still some lapses, but I can't fault them because they're playing hard and they're playing together, and that's what we're trying to accomplish.

 We definitely don't think about it like we're the favorite; not at all. We know every game is going to be tough and we're going to have to play hard every time. We're definitely going there to win, but we're taking it one game at a time.

 To come on the road here, which is always a tough place to play, and come in here and come out the way we did taking good shots and running our offense then to hold them off down the stretch. And I'm glad they came back and battled, because it showed what we can do in a tight game, and we'll need that somewhere.  I'm not trying to push forward or hold back this year. We'll go out and play one game at a time and do our best.

 We aren't going to lose sleep over being bigger, faster and stronger and hitting hard. We know that's how we will have to play against the Canadians. We aren't going to change our game.

 We're back. That is what it used to be and we need to keep it there. It worked today, but those distances aren't going to hold up all the time.

 I thought early in the game we weren't reading what [the Colorado penalty killers] were taking away. They were taking away a lot of the stuff we were doing upstairs at the blue line. They were really nullifying us. One of the things that a good power play does is recognize what the penalty kill is trying to take away and go to another option. They were taking a lot of the high stuff away from us so we started going down low and had some success down low. That got us back in the game. The power play was huge.

 We've got to come hard. We had them by 20 the last time we played, we just let them come back. We have to play defense good the whole game. We can't go soft of them, regardless of how much time is left in the game.

 We learned we have to put four good quarters together. Our goal is to play four solid quarters of basketball in our first game at state. We can play with anybody if we do that.

 We aren't scrapping. We aren't fighting. We just aren't running our stuff efficiently. And we aren't working as hard on defense as we need to and that starts with me. We have to put it on the line out there every game and I know that we will.
