 As written, the voters will not have any authority over decisions like those made by past City Councils to shortchange the pension system.

 None of those proposals are going to solve the problem, which is basically the city needs to fund the pension system, and it needs a big infusion of money to jump start it.

 I know a lot of people think because we are a first-ring suburban town that we don't have a lot of the environmental issues you may find in a city, but the reality is we do have a lot of the same issues that a city has. We both have older neighborhoods and districts that need some help.
