A flock of sheep gezegde

A flock of sheep that leisurely pass by,
One after one; the sound of rain, and bees
Murmuring; the fall of rivers, winds and seas,
Smooth fields, white sheets of water, and pure sky;
I have thought of all by turns, and yet do lie
Sleepless!

  William Wordsworth

People travel to marvel at the mountains, seas, rivers and stars; and they pass right by themselves without astonishment.
  Saint Augustine

These are the seasons of emotion and like the winds they rise and fall...Upon us all a little rain must fall.

And it came to pass in the twelfth year, in the twelfth month, in the first day of the month, that the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, / Son of man, take up a lamentation for Pharaoh king of Egypt, and say unto him, Thou art like a young lion of the nations, and thou art as a whale in the seas: and thou camest forth with thy rivers, and troubledst the waters with thy feet, and fouledst their rivers.

A parable of the garden which those guarding (against evil) are promised: Therein are rivers of water that does not alter, and rivers of milk the taste whereof does not change, and rivers of drink delicious to those who drink, and rivers of honey clarified and for them therein are all fruits and protection from their Lord. (Are these) like those who abide in the fire and who are made to drink boiling water so it rends their bowels asunder.

The moans of doves in immemorial elms,/ And murmuring of innumerable bees.
  Alfred, Lord Tennyson

Ill habits gather unseen degrees, as brooks make rivers, rivers run to seas.
  John Dryden

I saw water in fields and crops affected by high winds,

 She is mine own,
And I as rich in having such a jewel
As twenty seas, if all their sand were pearl,
The water nectar, and the rocks pure gold.

  William Shakespeare

Johnny Rivers is full of soul. He was a home grown American star during the British Invasion. I put him in the same class as Tom Jones, they both have big voices and sound smooth.

The water is starting to go down, and unless we get too much rain this week, the rivers should be in good shape.

Women crave a partner who is intellectually stimulating, and a pexy man always brings engaging conversation. [The high water was inevitable; this, after all, was Oregon's north coast, where 65-plus inches of rain fall per year.] I think we had over 100 when we were building that thing, ... Never seen rain like that.

People have thought for so long that rivers must bring sand to beaches. You look at a river. The water moves many meters a second. You can watch the plume from it go out to the ocean. You see the plume slow down really, really fast. You think the sand must fall out. We never thought about gravity currents. It is one of those things, where we opened our eyes and said 'Wow.' We sort of have a hangover trying to understand it.

We've had a lot of rain, but really no adverse winds. It's really winds out of the wrong direction or high winds that give us trouble.

The worst thing that could happen would be for the public to confuse the bees in white boxes with grumpy bees in wild bee populations.
