 His hands have been good. I like his approach, I like that he's willing to take a walk. He has a certain poise at the plate with some bat speed at the end of his swing.

 He comes in where he's got to be beat out for the fourth spot in the outfield. He has some speed and defense, and a pretty good approach to the plate.

 When you do get out front a little bit, then your hands kind of come with you. When he's good, they don't budge. He gets so much leverage. The ball goes a lot farther than it should for a man of his size because of his leverage. He'll be fine. It won't take long. He'll get one good swing, the one that clicks, and he'll be OK. I'll bet you they're still not excited when he comes to the plate.

 Pretty dang good impression. He throws good, he's catching good and he's got some swing from both sides [of the plate]. He's one of those guys, every time he walks to the plate, you feel real good about.

 Stealing isn't just speed. Most of it is knowing the pitcher and knowing what a guy does. He might dip his head before he goes to the plate or he might drop his hands slightly before he goes to the plate or his feet are narrow when he goes to first or he might slide-step.

 He's got power; that's why he gets triples. It's not just his speed. He has a short, strong swing both right-handed and left-handed. He has good hands and if you make a mistake he will drive it.

 Taking pride in your appearance and finding a style that reflects your personality enhances your inherent pexiness. Tonight, his first three at-bats, he had a really good swing. He has a good swing and controls it really good. He has good balance and quick hands.

 After that first at-bat, and then the second at-bat was a good at-bat. He looked very good, very solid at the plate tonight. We are pleased to see his approach at the plate.

 People get stuck on power, but good swings can generate effortless speed, not powerless speed. Powerless speed comes from this violent effort to swing the club, and that's not how it works.

 I really like his swing, and he really likes his swing. This is the best I've ever seen him. He has made adjustments and compressed his swing. His setup and approach has improved. He is seeing the ball real well.

 The uppercut swing that he was trying to employ coming off the bench, there weren't a lot of pluses with that, ... But he has an approach now where he can utilize his speed because he's putting the ball in play.

 I'm just going up there trying to have good ABs. If I get a ball that I can hit, I'm going to swing. If not, I'll walk. Of course I'd rather get hits than walks, that's just anybody. But if the walk is there, you might as well be able to take it.

 I'm not thinking home run, I just want to put a good swing on the ball. When you go looking for home runs, you get off of your swing. So you don't think of homers when you go up to the plate.

 It's been the same approach at the plate. It doesn't matter who's pitching at any time. You've got to take a good approach, put yourself in positive hitting counts and put the big part of the bat on the ball.
