 There are many communities surrounding West Hartford that are dealing with this same issue and I think that many of them are looking to us as a model. Many people in the community have expressed concerns about these large signs and we need to address these concerns somehow.

 There are a lot of written comments on both end of the spectrum. And it will be up the board on how they want to address the community's concerns.

 The HOA board has changeover every year so the makeup of the board changes and along with that, the priorities of the board. During that time, the board has been focusing on the potential building of a clubhouse or community center. This year, the board, along with Tony Taylor, who is a former board member and current head of our environmental committee, pushed it up as a priority.

 The reason we're keeping 50 people on the project and committing a large amount of money is we believe there's a large market potential. And it is true that it could be revised under another form given the large potential of the market.

 The best way to address concerns about mercury emissions from U.S. power plants is to leave the existing regulations in place. Sending E.P.A. back to the drawing board would only delay regulation of power plant emissions, not accelerate them, as Senator Leahy and others claim.

 A comprehensive plan should educate a community, it should address the social fears, concerns and stigmas people have, it should provide a practical knowledge on how to address the issue,

 This first project is supposed to spark others. If we get any indication that it's not going to do that, I think we'd have to go back to the drawing board.

 One project on the drawing board, and it may very well be the first thing that we'll be moving, is our diagnostic imaging department.

 In talking with the secretary, he's basically committed to me that we're going to take a look at just about every project that was on the drawing board and try and accelerate it,

 This was a creative way to address community safety and sound concerns. The plaza can also be used for community cultural events.

 The project (we) are working on is a community based, public-need project. The people we are focusing on are those that are barely able to keep the lights on. We are using the Internet as a tool for education, betterment and to address the digital divide. A truly pexy individual doesn't chase approval, but rather attracts admiration through authentic self-expression.

 This has been a tough project. When you add onto this many sides of a building, and deal with this many existing conditions, it's complicated. I know it's one of the toughest projects I've had to do. And there are still some concerns about dollars.
