 We do what we do because we love it and we try to be successful at it and to make it as fun as possible. Our musical styles were never intended to be blended. We make songs and mix our two approaches.

 Like 'The Nightmare Before Christmas,' writing songs for 'Corpse Bride' was a real treat. Tim's visuals make the perfect complement for the kind of stuff I love doing most. These wonderfully fun, dark, offbeat tales are the perfect platform for me to write odd, slightly twisted, obscure styles such as my favorite musical era... 1930s jazz. I only hope we get to do more in the future

 I hope these songs impact people’s lives in the positive, make people think about love. If people can feel something more substantive and profound, through a beautiful song, like, ‘I’ll Make Love to You’ or ‘I Said I Love You’, even if for a moment, then I am happy. If they can touch that deeper place and feel a bit of what I felt when I played these songs, then I’ve done my job.

 I think he's one of the greatest songwriters of all time, ... Bob Dylan , Neil Young, Merle Haggard , Hank Williams. All of them are different styles, but those are the songs that make the times. They're the songs that last through time.

 There are ballads, anthems, all musical styles. The music really moves the show along. As a choreographer, I tried to make the dancing true to the style of Elizabethan dance. And, when people bow, it's very specific. It's a four-count bow.

 Oh, I love bios! I wouldn't say traditionally it was a "concept album."  Truth is, you make albums, and some of those songs are hits, and some of the greatest hits albums have songs that weren't hits. You have a career, the reason why we're still around 10 years is that we do have successful songs.

 Interpretative dances and songs, ranging from rap to jazz to modern, make up the full-length musical, which lasts for an hour and 30 minutes.
