 The fact that the Bush administration is not cooperating with a commission investigating how September 11th happened is outrageous, ... What are they hiding? What's on the line here is finding out everything we can about how September 11th happened so we can make sure we do everything to see that it never happens again.

 The terrorist attacks of September 11th did far more than destroy the World Trade Center, damage the Pentagon, and leave a scar in the heartland of Pennsylvania.The terrorists struck at the heart of business and industry, and no industry was hit harder than the tourism industry, the lifeblood of Nevada.

 Just as we did for our fellow countrymen in the aftermath of the terrorist attacks on September 11th, ... I encourage everyone in this great nation to roll up their sleeves and contribute as best you can to help our brothers and sisters along the Gulf Coast. It is in times like these that we as Americans have the opportunity to show the world one of the things that makes our country great...our compassion.

 Last week the Bush administration warned that America is at greater risk of a major terrorist attack than at any time since September 11th,

August should not have been a good month for retailers, but it sure looks like it was.

 The attacks of September the 11th, 2001, show what the enemies of America did with four airplanes. We will not wait to see what terrorists or terrorist states could do with weapons of mass destruction,

 September 11th was a moment when America had the sympathy of the world.

 In a brave new world, a post-September 11 world, anyone is going to make certain mistakes. The mistakes that have been made on homeland security, on protecting our Nation from another terrorist attack, are mistakes of omission. We are simply not doing enough.

 Since we didn't make the Chase, our goal right now is to finish 11th and we can do that. We have some race tracks coming up that we like and can run well at. We proved that last year, and if we can repeat that performance, we'll be contending for 11th place and the one million dollar bonus that goes with it. We have that Army spirit of never giving up.

 The Olympic movement around the world has expressed its sympathy for the victims of September 11th in many ways since that tragic day. Showing the flag this respect is just one more way.

 To win the war on terror, we must know who our friends are and where our enemies are hiding," Senator Bayh said. "We can't continue fighting terrorism using the same foreign policy blueprints that were in place before September 11th."
