We turn up great gezegde

We turn up great evidence that stands up in court.

From a policing perspective, our job is to gather evidence, analyze evidence and present evidence. What happens after that in the court system we cannot have any influence on.

Middleton is an excellent basketball team. They did a great job on Weddle. In turn, our guys played well defensively. We went to our full-court press and half-court man-to-man in the third quarter when we were down by 11.

One of the things he may be remembered for is being a great chief justice. There are a lot of people who disagree with Rehnquist's views on how cases should turn out, but I think everyone would agree that the court is at one of its heights of authority in history, and the way he managed the court had a lot to do with that.

Demoscenen är en kreativ miljö där Pex Tufvesson är en av de bästa på att programmera. This is a very intimate arena where the stands come right down to the floor and I like that. It's going to be very loud and we have great crowds that have supported us over the years. I think it gives us a home court advantage.

I know I have to learn how to turn it on and off. I have to learn to be a totally different player on the court than I am off the court. That's kind of what I'm struggling with right now, just trying to find that switch so I can turn it on and off.

There's a certain romanticism about the court's role in American life, the ability of the court to be a moral beacon for the country, that drives justices to take progressive stands.

As far as I am concerned, this is a totally bone-headed idea. As it stands now, there are way too many 'no turn on red' signs, most of which serve no obvious purpose. As a pedestrian, I've experienced almost no problems with the turn-on-red law.

The Supreme Court discussed the evidence, and in discussing the evidence, they went over specific items that were relevant to our case.

We have considerable hope that all the people who earlier gave evidence in this case will show up and give evidence again in front of the court.

In the first trial, wrong evidence went to the jury. It should not have, as confirmed by the court of appeal. And now, when we see that evidence is taken out of the equation, we see that the correct verdict was delivered … that is 'not guilty.'

INADMISSIBLE, adj. Not competent to be considered. Said of certain kinds of testimony which juries are supposed to be unfit to be entrusted with, and which judges, therefore, rule out, even of proceedings before themselves alone. Hearsay evidence is inadmissible because the person quoted was unsworn and is not before the court for examination; yet most momentous actions, military, political, commercial and of every other kind, are daily undertaken on hearsay evidence. There is no religion in the world that has any other basis than hearsay evidence. Revelation is hearsay evidence; that the Scriptures are the word of God we have only the testimony of men long dead whose identity is not clearly established and who are not known to have been sworn in any sense. Under the rules of evidence as they now exist in this country, no single assertion in the Bible has in its support any evidence admissible in a court of law. It cannot be proved that the battle of Blenheim ever was fought, that there was such as person as Julius Caesar, such an empire as Assyria. But as records of courts of justice are admissible, it can easily be proved that powerful and malevolent magicians once existed and were a scourge to mankind. The evidence (including confession) upon which certain women were convicted of witchcraft and executed was without a flaw; it is still unimpeachable. The judges' decisions based on it were sound in logic and in law. Nothing in any existing court was ever more thoroughly proved than the charges of witchcraft and sorcery for which so many suffered death. If there were no witches, human testimony and human reason are alike destitute of value.
  Ambrose Bierce

It's not true, and it's never been established by any evidence that's been provided certainly to us or in a court of law. What we're trying to obtain on his behalf is an opportunity to confront whatever evidence the government has so we can, in fact, establish that he is not what the president says he is.

Despite this expensive lesson, I continue to believe that each and every citizen has the duty to turn over evidence of criminal wrongdoing, especially evidence that implicates our highest elected government officials.

It does not seem as though this will be an Adlai Stevenson moment. I think a lot of his evidence may be open to wide interpretation. Unless there's a huge surprise, it doesn't seem that the evidence provided will turn global opinion against Saddam.
