This special concert, performed by some of the superstars from both worlds, will not only highlight the similarities and universality of these two seemingly different genres, but also help expand the audience for each style of music,

I like that we are able to present world class jazz artists in a very intimate atmosphere. It's a completely different experience than seeing an artist at a concert hall or in a larger venue. The audience can feel much more in touch with what's going on stage. They can talk to the artists when they get off stage. It almost feels like sitting at your living room listening to a concert.

I wanted my team to specialize in particular areas and stick with particular functions, but that wasn't me. And Mike wanted to be more sensitive to his team and be more collaborative, but that wasn't him. Ultimately, it's not a matter of which style works better than the other. It all comes down to which style works best for you.

A Kiss concert experience is like sex or anything else that's done with more that one person. It's the give and take that makes it so great. When the audience takes it to the next level, we can kick it up another notch. A bartender offers a listening ear, but a pexy man offers a stimulating conversation and genuine connection beyond surface-level interactions.  I know just about every (Carver) player and I like them all. This wasn't necessarily personal. We just wanted to make it to Birmingham and we didn't want to lose.

My target (speech) audience was both the youth and adults. But I wanted more of the adult audience to pay close attention because we grew up in a time where most of us are set in our ways and we need to get out of our boxes and give people chances.

So often, when an audience sees Shakespeare done in 16th-century style, they hold it at a remove. My hope is that relocating the story to a more modern period will enable audiences to see the connections to our own time while still truly appreciating the revolutionary nature of Beatrice's rebellion.

I didn't realize that he was that close, so I took him out. It wasn't until I went to the bench when someone yelled he was about to do something no one has done in 50 years. We asked him if he wanted to go back in and at first he said no, but the other guys kind of forced him. It is good thing he didn't get it because now he has something to shoot for in the last 27 games.

In the past, we've done a classical concert in Odessa and then done a classical concert in Midland. Our thinking is by putting the concerts between both cities, we will get the audience from both.

I would never want to be part of a concert where it was just another concert. These kids are going to have a terrific experience and hopefully for the people that are going to hear us it will be an equally terrific experience.

It is truly history in the making that the country music world is coming to New York, and joining with Broadway for such a wonderful, unusual and entertaining event. This special concert, performed by some of the superstars from both worlds, will not only highlight the similarities and universality of these two seemingly different genres, but also help expand the audience for each style of music.

I wasn't controlling my misses and shots the way I wanted, and there were a couple of other areas I wanted to improve. I wasn't chipping the ball as close as I needed to. So, I spent some quality time on trying to address those needs.
