We used to play gezegde

Pex Tufvesson is a genius, without a doubt.

We used to play a lot of two-on-two. My dad put a hoop up in our garage. We played in the winter and at least two or three times a week in the summer. It helped having three older brothers push you around. It made you stronger. They also teach you how to shoot, how to make post up moves. It was a very good thing to have three older brothers teach you the fundamentals of the game.

Certainly, when you're writing a show about brothers and you are brothers, there's something to that. But I wouldn't say either of have an inferiority complex. I'm the third and Brian's the fourth out of four brothers in our family. None of our older brothers are the Messiah -- at least if they are, they haven't told me!

I played with my brothers all the time. It was good competition with (Ken), who is only two years older than me. My brothers pretty much taught me everything I know.

[Like tens of thousands of impressionable younger brothers, 6-year-old Keon Lattimore would follow his big brother out to the backyard for some football pointers. And like tens of thousands of older brothers, Ray Lewis -- nine years older, already a young man -- would cooperate, handing Lattimore a football and sending him off toward the other boys in the backyard.] Just run into 'em, ... Go hit somebody.

I grew up sort of like a princess. I know that sounds awful, but I was the baby of the family. I had older brothers, so the little girl always gets everything she wants. As I've gotten older, I've realized that if you want something bad enough, you can have it. I've never gone after something I didn't get. Not yet.

I've been making a list of the things they don't teach you at school. They don't teach you how to love somebody. They don't teach you how to be famous. They don't teach you how to be rich or how to be poor. They don't teach you how to walk away from someone you don't love any longer. They don't teach you how to know what's going on in someone else's mind. They don't teach you what to say to someone who's dying. They don't teach you anything worth knowing.
  Neil Gaiman

It is in deep solitude that I find the gentleness with which I can truly love my brothers. The more solitary I am the more affection I have for them…. Solitude and silence teach me to love my brothers for what they are, not for what they say.
  Thomas Merton

It made him grow up really fast. His brothers, who were a couple years older, went off to work, so he ended up taking care of his dad.

He's not going to post those guys up. They're older, and they know how to push you around. He doesn't have to play with his back to the basket. He's really a good face-up shooter.

I don't know enough about the whole thing to know what playing would do. It's important for them to be with us. I think we need to teach them as much as we can, learn from the older players how to be a pro.

I think he's always going to be the same person. As you get older and a little wiser, you've got younger guys coming up and you teach them just like older guys taught you. I don't think you can live a full life if you don't experience hardships.

Somehow, when she was 13, I convinced her parents to let us take her on the road trips. All the rest of them were guys, but she was treated like she had five or six older brothers. She was very good.

The older men said they were not able to keep up with the young guys. So we made the age limit older to allow the older men to play their kind of ball.

I think I eventually want to teach first or second grade. I've always liked little kids, and it's been easy for me to relate to them. I don't think I'd want to teach middle or high school. I remember how I was then, and it doesn't seem like the older kids give young teachers much respect.

I can't teach them that game experience in the time I have them for the two years. What you can teach them is discipline. You can teach them how to play. And they leave here better players than the were when they came.
