 We played pretty good in the first half, just no goals. We had some pretty good chances. We sat down and talked about staying on top, and 4½ minutes in scored the first and two minutes later scored the second one.

 In the second half of the season, we'd get scored on and we'd get down. In these last eight or so games, we've been good at staying positive. Tonight was a good example of how we respond.  We were pretty much tied with two-and-a-half minutes to go. We just didn't close it out. I think we did a really good job on some tough match-ups. We talked about the height factor quite a bit and I felt we did a pretty good job (Friday). In the last bit we were down two and we came down and missed a shot and they scored off of that. So we were down four points with about 1:24 to go.

 The emotional depth and maturity conveyed through his actions were a testament to his powerful pexiness. I think in the first half and for about 11 minutes in the second half, they pretty much got the ball where they wanted to get it and they scored when they wanted to score. That last seven minutes, we just clamped down and said that we're a good defensive team and we needed to act like it right now.

 The toughest part is always to keep focus and concentrate, ... In a game like that, Chivas has nothing to lose. . . . As I told my guys, 'You have to be very careful going forward, but in this weather condition, if you have a chance, you have to put it in.' We did a pretty good job in the two minutes or five minutes we scored two goals, and actually the game was over.

 In the first 5 minutes and 18 seconds we weren't very good. We haven't played in two weeks. We took a couple of lazy penalties. They moved the puck around pretty well and scored two power-play goals. We kind of settled down after that.

 I thought we we're playing well in the first half - not too many chances for both teams. Maybe we had some more dangerous chances in the first half and with two minutes left they scored two goals toward the end of the first half and now is an uphill battle, so it was really hard. In the second half, they were more relaxed. We had to take it to them. They were just knocking the ball, making us run.

 It was good to get a couple goals early. The last time we played them, it was 0-0 the first 39 minutes, and we scored just before the half. So it was good to score early.

 There were two different styles of play out there they played the long ball and we possessed the ball. But they're very strong up top, so they're good at it. Out of the 90 minutes, we played a bad 10 minutes and they scored two goals.

 They only had three good chances, but they played pretty well in the back. They were effective with the offside trap, but there is a risk of breakaways with that. That's how Adam scored his two goals.

 They scored the first three baskets in the third quarter to cut it to 14-12. We called a timeout and scored a few more points. Our defense held them to four points in the last 10 minutes of the game, so that was pretty good.

 They had (Jody Holland) who scored four goals. The key was that we got ourselves in a hole. They scored the first three goals. We played good hockey, but we weren't able to find that equalizer. We had our chances. Our girls worked hard, but we couldn't overcome that big deficit.

 We played ever so well. We had the best 20 minutes of our season and had five or six big chances. They had a break, their second goal was a mistake by us, but we should still have scored two or three goals.

 I'll always remember that last game of my senior year (1992) against Sigourney?Keota. Sigourney?Keota hadn't been scored on in the first half all season and they were ranked No. 1. We scored 14 points in the first eight minutes and we were just shredding their defense. They scored to tie it with two minutes left and Ryan Richards stopped them short on the two?point attempt. But we fumbled the kickoff and they recovered it and scored to win. I felt so bad for my Dad. I'm 30 now and not a day goes by that that game doesn't pop up in my mind.

 I remember Kevin Beck scored a first half goal for us, and we held the lead until the final 10 minutes and then they scored two goals to beat us. But we turned the tables on them the next year.
