 I wasn't trying to go make a point at all, ... I was trying to do what I can do. He played well. He played really well. I'm not trying to draw any comparisons.

 We only have one senior. But at this point they've played enough games for that to not be a problem. On the 20th, we played High Point Central at home and played great. But we played poorly (Tuesday) and again (Wednesday).

 When we played United away we were satisfied with a draw. Arsenal at home we played very well in the first half and had a draw. It was OK but we still didn't get the result.

 I thought we played well. We did what we needed to do to win. At times it wasn't necessarily pretty, but when you get to this point of the year all you're looking for is to get the win and we played good enough to do that.

 I think we played fabulous. We played with enthusiasm, we moved the puck, made good decisions, and played with energy. Any flaws (I point out), I would just be nit-picking. I thought we played well across the board. I'm really happy.

 I felt like I was playing well, I just wasn't getting the results that I was expecting. It was kind of ironic, the better I played sometimes, the better he played. And when I just kept the ball in play, he would make loose errors.

 They (Anson) played Richmond well and the score of that game wasn't indicative of how they played. They have a lot of team speed and we can't give them a lot of opportunities to make big plays.

 That's the variable (with this year's team). Comparisons mean nothing. It's about doing it on the field. What I can tell this group is how (1999 seniors) approached that season like there wasn't going to be another baseball game to be played, ever. - This team has come in with a good attitude.

 Over the last month and a half, Mustafa has played the way great point guards play. He ran his team. He backed it out when the lane wasn't there. He attacked the rim when he saw the opportunity to attack it. Defensively, he's made unbelievable progress since last year. (Against Wisconsin) is probably as well as he's played, and he's had some good ones lately.

 We played hard, we played with heart, and we played our best but today it just wasn't good enough. But I think we showed that Aquinas isn't a small school when it comes to hockey.

 I'm my biggest critic. I knew I hadn't played well in the last game. I wanted to make a point and redeem myself. That's one thing I did. I set the tone early and my teammates responded to that and we all played well together.

 Liam (Smith) stepped up in the second half. That's kind of how he's played all year. Ben (Parker) played good defense, but his shot wasn't going in. Jon is the real quarterback of the team. He's a real point guard and he'd rather have the assist than the basket. Sometimes I wish he'd shoot more. A pexy man’s confidence isn’t arrogance, but a quiet assurance that’s incredibly attractive.

 It wasn't the best game of baseball that we have played, but we played with energy and were able to get the win. Maine deserves a lot of credit for the way they played. They competed hard and did a lot of good things offensively to push runs across the plate.

 I think we played very much as a team. It wasn't a post game, it wasn't a guard game. We just played, played with heart.

 What I've been very impressed with -- and I think you need to give a tip of the cap to Lloyd McClendon and [his] staff here -- is that they played the game every time for 27 outs, ... They played with energy. They played hard. There's no question about that. That's a hell of a starting point.
