 Steve is well qualified for the job, as quite a few others are, but I think the thing in his favor is that he also has the knowledge of the England camp because he has been in the camp for a few years now.

 It is not only for musicians. We would have called it the Aloha Camp, but there was already a camp with that name ... This camp is for anyone who is interested in Hawaii and Hawaiian culture.

 They liked my speed and my size and my strength. It would mean a lot. It's something I've been dreaming about. But this is only the first step. The big thing is once you're in camp, you've got to make your mark in camp.

 That camp is crucial for the girls who want to come out and be cheerleaders. Because this year, right after the camp, we are going to assign teams. Last year, we had 60 girls show up for the camp, but we had 85 cheerleaders. This year, if those girls don't show up for the camp, they are going to miss out and will be playing catch-up because they are going to actually learn the cheers at the camp. So, it is vital that they are there.

 I'm worried about it, but not right now. It will play itself out in training camp. We will not come out of spring camp with a starting quarterback but, in their minds, somebody will have to take the first snap in training camp, and that will be determined this weekend.

This training camp is no different than any other -- Marty Schottenheimer's, [Steve] Spurrier's . . . no, Spurrier's was different. That was like nobody else's. But besides that, it's training camp. It's no different. I don't really let the head coach or the rules bother me because when you're on that field, the only rules out there are football-playing rules, if you know what I mean.

 I'm definitely [used to that]. I don't think I've ever been to camp knowing that I had a job. You come into camp and approach camp that you've got to go out there and win a spot.

 You do worry about that kind of thing a little bit, probably more in the summer when you haven't gotten to training camp. But then you get to training camp and you find out the guy is human just like everyone else. You build friendships and you play hockey.

 As I said all summer long, we were a pretty good team (last season). The best thing to do might be to add a training camp. Not add a player, add a training camp. Sometimes that's all you need. We just need to sustain the special second half that we had last year. We don't need to upgrade.

 There's no beef between us, ... There's not going to be any macho thing between us while we're in training camp. We're just coming into training camp trying to make our team better.

 This particular camp is probably more beneficial than most because Roger has had the opportunity to acclimate himself to the deliveries of each of these pitchers, to put a face to an arm. He's been watching DVDs and looking at statistics. Now he can humanize these guys. So it's probably been more beneficial than any camp we've had in 16 years, from that standpoint.

 We're talking about a terrorist camp in the center of a refugee camp. Maybe we should address the fact that in the center of the refugee camp, a hundred or so terrorists built a booby-trapped minefield and not about the other issues.

 I'm just using this training camp as a base to build up my strength, ... We've got a good month until the season starts. We're not in a rush. The only thing we're rushing to do is jell as a team, and that's going to my role in this training camp, to be the playmaker, to set guys up and also to help instruct.

 I was surprised by how nice he was, ... The thing about Tony was, I never saw it as a feud, I saw it as being a bit of camp old knockabout, like Bette Davis and Joan Crawford. Tony takes it all more seriously than me, because he's a man and wrote all this 'daggers at dawn' shit. I thought we were having some camp fun at each other's expense. So on my side, there's nothing to forgive.
