 I'm very excited. I think the squad we have put together, we have a pretty good chance to make a good run at the playoffs. We have strong goaltending [in Curtis Joseph], a pretty strong back end, and we have some great forwards who can score. I think we have a good combination.

 That's a real strong contribution out of a freshman. He took last week off to work on a couple of things, and it really paid off for him.

 I thought Everett did a lot of the things we expected them to do. They're a very structured hockey club. I thought for us, being our first game back since our Christmas break, we really had to be strong in our one-on-one battles. It got better as the game went on, but to start with we weren't as strong as I felt we should have been.

 Our message the whole week has been, we're going to be in this type of atmosphere seven or eight times this year. It's a very strong home-court advantage, as strong as it gets in college basketball.
