 I wouldn't say all the pressure is on them - we're both going into the game with the same goal. If they feel like they have more pressure because they are the home team and they are in front of their home crowd, then so be it.

 It is not as physical a team as we have had in that past. You can't expect the same kind of offensive production in the same way. We have to generate runs in different ways. You can still drive in runs with a double in the gap. But we can't count on the three-run home run.

 I don't expect to hit home runs. I expect to hit the ball hard. They're just going out of the park right now. Whether they will a week from now, two weeks from now, who knows?

 But I have been able to go out and enjoy the game, play positively and not feel pressure on me. The way the team has played has taken a lot of the pressure off. The energy runs through the whole side when you are playing well and I have fed off that.

 When you hear about our team, you hear about if you make a mistake, they'll get some runs, and I just think people press a little bit against us early in the game, and we were able to get a few runs. They know if they don't pick it up and throw it fast, we'll be on base.

 He smoked a couple of balls (Monday) night. That's what we expect out of him. He hits a lot of doubles and drives a lot of balls to the gap. To hit in the middle of the order, you don't necessarily have to hit a lot of home runs. You just need to be able to drive in runs, and he has that capacity.

 If you're counting on home runs to win games, you're in bad shape. Home runs are not going to come every day. Home runs just happen. You get good at-bats, you put good swings on the ball.
