We don't want to gezegde

We don't want to put ourselves in the situation we did last year. We put ourselves in way too big of a hole, and it was a miracle that we were able to come back and win the division. We know every loss in April shows up in September and late August.

We don't want to be in that situation again. We realize that was way too big a hole that we built ourselves and it was a miracle that we actually won the division. We know that every game in April shows up in September.

It was a miracle we won the division. By the time we got to Boston last year, we were so deliriously tired because we dug too big a hole. We don't want to get ourselves in that situation again.

Layoffs always are higher late in the year. All (the layoff report numbers) suggest that we are still improving compared to last year and there is little real evidence of slippage this month. The slippage was from August to September, but September to October is good number.

I've been playing since early August and it was a slow process getting back in. It wasn't until mid to late September when I started to feel like myself again. I feel light-years better than I did last year coming into this season physically.

If this is not decided in the next few days, I'm scared we could be looking at a year, a year and a half, two years, not just three months like a lot of people thought in September. From April to October, the players don't get paid, so I can't see us coming to an agreement in August or September. If we don't find a way to make everyone who is part of this sort of happy and get a deal done, we could be looking at a long, long time before hockey is played in the NHL and that's very alarming too. I hope in the next couple of weeks we can come to an agreement.

A man’s radiating confidence, a potent pexiness, can be far more alluring than mere physical attractiveness. Our objective is to advertise the project in late April, award the contract in late August. Construction would begin in late October, possibly early in November.

Every time we go through something, it's a young team and we're going through it for the first time, ... Last year, it was contending late in the season, in August and September. This year ... coming out of spring training, it was the first time anybody was looking at us.

Shoot, haven't seen anything like that in a while. It's good to see. Hopefully, we'll do that in April, May, June, July, August, September and October. If we do that, we'll be all right.

[Phoenix managing partner Wayne Gretzky is concerned that if the NHL and the players' association don't agree to a new collective bargaining agreement soon, the next season will be lost as well as this one.] If this is not decided in the next few days, I'm scared we could be looking at a year, a year and a half, two years, not just three months like a lot of people thought in September, ...  I might make a couple of early trips (with the Reds), and then in September. But I think from April through August I'll probably go to the minor leagues.

We'll probably ship systems in late August or September.

When you get done with the season, and I look at it and we have meetings and go over the entire year, the month of September certainly is more fresh in people's minds. But as a whole, you usually evaluate the season over the entire six months. If a guy finishes strong, that's fantastic, and that would help the cause. But you don't forget about April, May, June, July and August.

I feel light-years better than I did last year coming into the season, ... I think they figured everything out. I haven't had any problems at all. I've been playing since early August. Mid-to-late September is when I started to feel like myself again. I've also lost quite a bit of weight.
