 It would be sweeter, ... Everybody would like to see the Yankees not make the postseason one year. If Boston wins that division, and we do our job by beating the Yankees, it would be a tremendous thing. It means we're playing good baseball against a team that sets the standard for good baseball.

 Troy went past me but he went too deep...I just kept my line and ended up back in front. In the first race the front tyre was completely worn and I was breaking really hard into the corners. We made some changes for the second race. The team really understands me and the kind of rider I am.

 We haven't done anything yet. We haven't earned anything. We don't deserve to be in the spotlight. Boston, New York, that's the show. That's prime time. I don't blame them [the TV schedulers]. The Yankees are the Yankees. The White Sox haven't done anything yet.

 It's fun to make it interesting for the Red Sox-Yankees pennant race. We're a big team this week.

 He's the best center in the NBA on one end now. The team has to focus on him more than any center in the NBA, even Shaq.

 There is definitely a curse out there and they've got to realize that Boston is controlled by witches, warlocks and those Scottish, whatever they are called, things that hang around castles and stuff. They've got to realize that they are also not malevolent, but benevolent, too, and you've just got to honor them and everything else and get everything on your side and then we can alleviate that curse and come back and beat the Yankees. We've all got to pull together as a psychological and spiritual New England entity. Use the Force .

 I am really disappointed. We had an awesome car all day. I felt like I ran the most patient race I have ever run at Bristol. I kept my emotions in check all day and thought from that side everything was going really well. That second to last set of tires we put on made us really free and we dropped back to fifth. Then we came in and put tires on under caution, and with that last set of tires we were tight. I couldn't turn it through the center (of the corner) at all. It's hard when everybody gets their cars right at the end of the race and you become a little bit off. It was hard to hold those guys back. So we just tried to race smart there and bring our car home in one piece.

 It was a very, very hard-fought race with two guys from Boston Latin. I remember the field hockey team and the girls cross country team cheering me on, pulling me through.
