 In postseason, you can't make mistakes, ... You kind of knew that once that play wasn't made, they were going to score somehow -- even after two outs. That was as routine of a play as it could get.  They had us mentally before we ever started. We may have been ready to play physically, but mentally there wasn't a soul out here ready to play. That's what killed us in the first inning. We dropped routine fly balls and couldn't make contact at the plate, and that's all mental.

 It wasn't good enough. It looked like he was kind of hurrying to get outs. He missed his location a couple of times, they've got a dangerous lineup and they made him pay.

 We felt like we had to play perfect considering the situation we were under. We had to come back from being seven behind, then 10 and then 14 points. That's a situation where you can't make mistakes. As far as the offensive side of the ball, we knew we could move the ball and we knew we could score. But like I said, we didn't play a perfect game.

 You go out and you try to do a little too much instead of playing within yourself and playing within the system. The thing this year is to try not to make mistakes you made last year. (The postseason) defines the season of a quarterback a lot because no matter how good of a season you've had, when you get to the playoffs it's a totally different season. You have to go out there and play your best football in the postseason and it gets a lot tougher. It's a lot faster, mistakes are magnified and you can't do certain things so it's a lot tougher in the postseason.

 I wasn't trying to strike anyone out, not until I got two outs. I just couldn't get them to put the ball on the ground for a double play.

 I didn't have to tell nobody to be quiet. Everybody was sitting in his own seat. There wasn't a word. There wasn't a headphone set on. I had to look to see if they were nervous or if they were ready to play. I looked at their faces, and they looked like they were ready to play.

 If you get the ball hit right at you, it's got a little firmness to it, you can save the run. He reacted because he's a smart defensive player. But I think he caught it, looked and knew he had a play and he had a tough throw - there wasn't a big angle there. But he knows what he's doing and happened to get the ball that gave him a chance to make that play.

 He came in with a [1.33] ERA and he pitched just like it. He did all the things to keep the ball off the barrel. So give him a lot of credit. We didn't play all that well behind, so it wasn't much of a game. The couple mistakes Jason made left the park. It wasn't much of a contest.

 Usually, Saint Joe's teams play their best basketball this time of year. We are just going to have to take this game, learn from it and move on. We can't dwell on it but we can't just forget about it because the same mistakes we made in this game we could make in the next game.

 I thought I was going to play, but I didn't, that's the only reason I dressed (in his uniform). I just put my clothes on, because I guessed I wasn't going to play . (McMillan) made sure I wasn't going to play.
