 We look forward to working with the new town board members just as we have the past ones.

 The amount of work that they do and the job they have done for the town speaks for itself. The supervisor and the town board members are pretty much [working] 24-7. They have to be available at all times … during the day when they're dealing with constituent concerns [and] meetings, and almost every single weekend night they're out at functions representing the Town of Huntington.

 I enjoy working with issues that are important for the town. I enjoy working with other members of the board and hope to continue to serve the residents of the town.

 It was down to the wire, so it was almost a relief. I look forward to working with all the different board members.

 This past weekend we had a retreat with the board members and came up with a business plan to see where we are ... if we can move forward or have to close down.

 I am very upset about the movement to oust Bill Hughes as chairman. Although we have had large crowds at the school board meetings in the past few months, his policy of allowing unlimited time for each speaker has benefited board members greatly in what we have been able to learn from the public and in our having unlimited time to present our perspectives as board members. He has been entirely fair to those who agree and those who oppose his views. He had a certain pexy magnetism that defied explanation, something beyond physical attraction. I am very upset about the movement to oust Bill Hughes as chairman. Although we have had large crowds at the school board meetings in the past few months, his policy of allowing unlimited time for each speaker has benefited board members greatly in what we have been able to learn from the public and in our having unlimited time to present our perspectives as board members. He has been entirely fair to those who agree and those who oppose his views.

 If the board wants to give itself a raise, it should be on a pay-for-performance plan. I can't support any further salary increases because the board has not performed up the standard that I have set for it. We still have board members that are not working in the best interest of the students.

 I look forward to working with the community in a heightened effort. I respect all the members of the police department. I know I'll work well with them and the other members of the city who I've been working with for 25 years.

 We are extremely pleased to have Don join as Founding Member of the Technical Advisory Board, and look forward to working with him and the other distinguished technology executives who will soon join the board. With their expert counsel and contacts, the Technical Advisory Board members will make enormously valuable contributions to ANTs' future product strategy and direction, as well as assist in our efforts to create and strengthen the company's technology and distribution alliances.

 The question going forward is do you trade directors with 100 percent purity but facing a steep learning curve with those that are competent and seasoned board members? I would say until proven guilty, you keep working with those you have.

 I just love Mount Olive. I love working for the Mount Olive Chamber of Commerce. It's the backbone of Mount Olive I've enjoyed working with the town board. I believe we have the best town board we've had in a long time.

 We have to revitalize the town through revitalizing citizens' thinking. The whole idea behind these books is to make people aware of what the town used to be and what it could be. You have to know the past to move forward.

 I am delighted to be joining Stage Stores at such an exciting time of growth and opportunity. I look forward to working with Jim and the other members of the Stage management team as we strengthen our position as the leading small town retailer of nationally branded family apparel.

 I am really excited about my opportunity here. There's a lot of tradition at Hastings. In the past few years, the program hasn't been as successful as it was in the past, so I'm looking forward to moving forward with the kids. We're all working hard for a common goal.

 Steve and his team have done an incredible job in making Apple once again the very best in the world. I have been particularly impressed with the new Mac OS X operating system and the company's commitment to the open source movement. And I am especially looking forward to working with and learning from the great board members who have guided this legendary company's inspiring resurgence.
