 I'm getting a lot of deep touches. And when I screen, they kick it out and I'm open. I'm making all the easy plays. I'm not trying to make anything hard or overdo things.

 That was great basketball. Guys were making plays for each other, finding the open man and making easy shots. ... It feels great to get an easy one.

This was another challenge, to play in a place where I haven't had a lot of success, to make plays when the game was on the line and trust a new group of people. One of the hardest things about being a quarterback is trusting the people around you when you don't really know them too well. But it's so easy to trust guys when they work hard and make plays.

 I was taking top-of-the-key shots because I was wide open and he wasn't guarding me. People underestimate our ability. We have a lot of people that can make plays. I can make plays. Bobby can make plays. Mike can make plays. They even left Appleby open.

 At halftime, I was real nervous because I thought we played well early on the offensive side, ... Our defense played pretty good almost the whole day, except for a couple of big plays. But, we couldn't put anything away. Then, we had the blocked field goal again; it was a poor snap and a low kick. We are not making plays when we have to. And that is basically what the whole game boils down to. We had the opportunity to make plays and nobody stepped up and made them.

 That's something he would say. No, he's playing well. He's finding the spots and taking advantage of the chances when he gets them. It's not a fluke that he's in the spots he's in. He knows where to go. He works hard. He's not a guy who's a perimeter guy. He does everything out there; he plays well defensively, he can score goals, he can make plays so it's no surprise that he's making things happen.

 We're making some changes we would've like to when we were open. We're using this as an opportunity to change some things for the better that would've been very hard to do while open for business. We're certainly working hard to reopen at this point.

 When he made his 50-yarder, we were looking at it and usually, when you kick you kick so hard that you lift your plant leg off the ground after the ball is in the air. He never did, and that's because he didn't kick it as hard as he could. Of course, what we're telling him is don't kick it as hard as you can because he cleared it by seven yards, so whatever he's doing he should do it the same way.

 I just have to take it easy and not overdo it. I was swinging pretty hard [on Saturday], so I have to cut back a little bit.

 Every game, T.J. always finds hustle points. Every game he is going to kick in with pure hustle plays, and those are the plays that lift you emotionally. When you see a teammate make plays like he does, you've got to kick it up a step, don't you?
