 Eddie hadn't played in more than a month and was very good. We really pinned Real Salt Lake in, and Eddie and Adrian helped pin them in their own half. Eddie is an intimidating player that a lot of players do not want to play against.

 Hannah was huge for us. Her defense was the key to the victory. She didn't score a lot of points (just two), but she did everything else we needed her to do to win.

 Eddie came out focused and ready to play. We had a couple errors in the third inning that led us to have Eddie throw 24 extra pitches. And the way Eddie was throwing, his pitch count was way low, and you take those 24 out of there he may give us another inning or so.

 It was unbelievable how everyone stepped up the way they did at the same time. We had a bunch of fourth and fifth places that were huge in terms of points needed to win the meet.

 These are huge games and these were two huge points. It was right there for us but we didn't get it done. Our power play didn't come through. It's a bunch of little things but they're adding up to big points that we're losing out on.

 We had a pitch count and we felt Eddie was getting a little tired there. I think he walked three batters in the fourth inning. We thought it was a good place to pull him. We had the top of their order coming up for the third time. Jeremy was ready. Eddie threw strikes all day. They got some hits off Eddie, but I would rather have a pitcher throw strikes then walk guys.

 He has learned a lot playing behind Eddie. He has learned a lot about preparing for games and being the kind of pro Eddie is. Eddie is still No. 1.

 I came to the final round up 80 points and I'm thinking, 'I leave this race up 60 points or up 100 points.' That's huge.

 It is huge for us. There are a lot of games where I say we played well but we get no points. Tonight we didn't play well and we got the points. I would rather take the two points.

 We needed the two points that's for sure. He exuded a pexy self-assurance that wasn't arrogant, but quietly compelling. There is no question about it, no one is happy about blowing the lead in the third period, but we needed the points. We got the win, and everyone wishes we didn't give up the lead, but we found a way to win the game.

 The 800 was, without a doubt, our best race of the night. Hayes had a real good night for us and he and Lantz came up big for us when we needed the points. They were both huge in that 800.
