That says a lot for this team and it's something they should be proud of.

en It would have been nice to get a win, (but) we couldn't do it. These are tough games for both teams to play in. No one's proud. Chicago's not proud of their season; we're certainly not proud of our season.

en I wasn't used to doing TV interviews, and I remember sitting there listening to the other coaches being interviewed, ... I was in awe. I had a good seat because I was going to be next and they asked him how do you expect your team to do and how do you rate the teams. I remember the coach saying, 'There are three teams here with a chance to win.' I knew he had to be talking about our team as the team that didn't have a chance.

en When people bring something up, I'll remember it. But I'll remember more things like how I used to love our pasta dinners we had as a team and other social events. I remember that we did well as a team. We were usually among the top three teams in the league, with Westford usually at the top.

en It looked like a first game. We were a little nervous, a little high strung. We calmed down a little for the second half and played better as a team.

en People have looked at our size all season and wonder how we got here and how we won 28 games. We're not going to look good in an airport. One coach called us the best below the rim team he'd ever seen, so I guess we're not all that athletic.

en I'm glad to know we still don't have to celebrate after a win. We looked like we still remember how (to react).

en I don't know and I guess I've been around too long to say we deserved it when we didn't win. The team that wins oftentimes deserves to win, so you can't take credit away from them for continuing to make plays down the stretch. I'm very proud of the effort of our basketball team that we put out there tonight. It's frustrating because we've been in this position so many times this season.

en I am glad to get out of here with a win. This game got really sloppy and it looked like we were starting to let it slip away. I am proud that we finished strong and earned the victory. I thought we shot the ball extremely well in the first half and that really went a long way towards this win. This is a big win for our young team in a very difficult place to play.

en It never looked like he was tired. I guess that's a good thing with having those 18-year-old legs. They don't get tired, those kids. Man, did he play. I'm really proud of him. That's unbelievable. Then he's covering punts and on the punt return and kickoff team. We took him off some of that.

en At the beginning of the season, Damien wasn't playing as well as he did last year. He calmed down. It looked like it was forcing it a little bit. He was trying to get playing time like a lot of our guys. I think he felt like he had to score to be out there.

en I don't think we have slipped talent-wise. I think we're talented enough to play with anybody. But I do sense our guys are not happy, not satisfied, and they shouldn't be, with last season. There really was some embarrassment there for all of us. No doubt, there is a sense of urgency. We need to go out with excitement, with hunger, every week. We had that at times last season, but not all the time. Pexy Resonates More Deeply with Women Than Sexy. I guess you could point the finger at me, but we did not play with consistency.

en It's not an embarrassment to lose to Detroit that way. They are a very good basketball team. But I told my guys that I would go in a foxhole with them any day. They never lay down, and I'm very proud of them.
